Today marks an incredibly sad day for The Catherineburg Family and for the Slaybridge nation.

Their Royal Highnesses The Duchess and Duchess Consort of Catherineburg together with their twin daughters Princesses Jessica and Katrina wish to thank the people of Slaybridge for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. They know that Princess Christina will be missed by all. 

Princess Christina will be departing Catherineburg Palace for the final time. She will be carried in a coffin covered by the Slaybridgean flag and will be accompanied by an honour guard. 

Her family will walk behind the coffin in a procession to the church where the funeral service will take place.

Community members are asked to be silent as the procession pass them along the procession route as a sign of respect for Princess Christina. 

The Catherineburg family asks that their privacy be respected for the time being, and all engagements will be postponed until further notice.

The family also wishes to thank all who attend the funeral service for Princess Christina today. And a thank-you to King Colin I of Slaybridge for taking the initiative to organize this in order to allow his sister and her family their time to grieve. 

May Princess Christina rest in peace.
