I am so proud of my school
These past few days have been very hard for everyone at SME. A senior role model died in an atv accident saturday night. He died trying to save one of his friends after he had already pushed another out of the way. He was a genuine person, even though I did not know him, I really wish I did. The saying for my school is "once a lancer, always a lancer" and that was proven today. The whole school was in mourning and came together. I am so proud to be a lancer today. Also, earlier today the father of two kids at East died while serving our country. I can not say enough how proud I am to be a Lancer. Today was truly inspiring, but yet very very depressing. Rest in peace Tyler Rathbun, you will be forever missed. And my thoughts and prayers go out to the Rathbun and Manske families for their tragic losses.
