BIOGRAPHY
Chrysta was determined and full of life from a young age. She was born in York to a loving and close-knit family. Her parents were both doctors who had opened up their own private medical practice in a small town and her childhood was both busy and content. She was never a child who enjoyed riding a bike or climbing trees, she could always be found sketching or using her dad’s old camera to take pictures everywhere she went. She is so close to her who is five years older, though she has always taken it on herself to look after her too.
Chrys was happy growing up. She had her sister who was her best friend, her parents who supported and loved them unconditionally and she made the most of every opportunity given to her. She was particularly close to her dad who shares her love for photography and cooking and he always encouraged her. She enjoyed school, she was artistic, smart and had a lot of friends. She thrived in her teens, winning art competitions and applying for university in Glasgow at eighteen.
She studied art and photography and finally found her thing as a freelance photographer. She is a talented artist and sometimes does illustrations and graphics for extra money. She often pushed limits and as a child she was always a little reckless and this has continued into her adult life. She’s spontaneous and loves doing new things, she doesn’t let much hold her back in life.
She enjoyed being in the city and when she graduated, she found herself an apartment in the small town of Thistlefield where she already had family in Scotland. This is where she has been the last three years. She now manages a photography studio and takes photographs for engagements, weddings and other events. Her sister recently came crashing back into her life and she has instantly taken over the role of supporting her and wanting to help her.
