if you have gmail, you could use google docs, and that literally saves after every word you type, i used for all my essays so i could access at home and at school it’s great!

It sounds like a few people have been having the same problem. Maybe there's a technical problem with tumblr itself??? I've tried disabling and then re-enabling x-kit, opening and closing my browser etc, but to no avail. So, I guess we just sit tight and hope they find a solution to it.
