Chapters: 1/1 Summary:
“Come on, Mikey. We’ll be home soon.”
Mikey barely reacts. He peels his fingers off the wall and crosses his arms tight over his plastron. It looks like he is hugging himself. The fact that he won't meet their eyes causes the three older turtles to exchange confused glances.
“Everything alright?” Raph asks.
Mikey nods. Then shakes his head. Then nods again. His head retreats a little into his shell until only his eyes are visible.
“We are brothers.” The whisper is barely audible.
************* Set during "The Evil League of Mutants". Because suddenly finding out that you are actually genetically related to your brothers doesn't change anything. But at the same time, it's kinda a big deal, isn't it?

💙 Leo~
-Snorts when he laughs.
-Goes Mom Mode at nighttime.
Will grab a mug of coffee and peek in on all his brothers while they sleep, especially after the movie.
-A lot more tired than Donnie, he just trained himself not to yawn.
-Has Instagram and is constantly updating his profile.
-Will cross his arms and tap his foot when he's angry.
-Will just sit on the floor silently when he's sad.
-Sometimes he wishes Donnie would come and Turtle Pile with him.
-Will be pesky and annoying just to distract everyone from the trauma.
-Very observant and can pay close attention to detail if he pleases.
-Is absolutely heartbroken when Donnie says they aren't twins.
-Absolutely. Loves. Plushies. And will steal Raph's to snuggle with at night.
-Definitely has a unicorn hoodie and hides it from his brothers.
-Tried to convince his brothers to make a secret handshake with him but they didn't want to. (Mikey wanted to but Leo just didn't care at that point.)
💜 Donnie~
-Has the purest laugh on Earth.
-Became the funniest turtle on accident and it just boosted his bad boy image when Splinter praised him for it.
-Won't admit it, but loves Raph's plushies because of how soft they are.
-Loves cats but doesn't admit it because Leo says he like a grumpy old cat.
-Installed two more trackers on Splinter after the movie.
-Will stick close to Raph, a signal for a needed hug, when he is frustrated or overstimulated.
-Has a weird thing with fingers.
Will squirm is he sees someone bend them back to far or crack their knuckles.
-Has secretly given April permission to touch his shell when needed.
-Sometimes craves validation from April since she is a big sister to him, and an older person figure.
-Has all the social media apps.
-Is incredibly observant and takes note of everything.
-When he says he records everything, he records EVERYTHING. His systems recorded the moment Leo was beaten in the Prison Dimension, and Donnie had to sit in his lab for days to recover after coming across it the day after the invasion.
-Has to reapply his eyebrows every week.
-Boasts to his brothers about his eyebrows.
❤ Raph~
-Has plushies. And not just a few.
-Used his big blanket as his pretend shell to retract into then his brothers did so with theirs.
-Is jealous that his brothers can retract into their shells when he can't.
-Has to stay in physical contact with someone so he won't perish, especially after the movie.
-Always super duper scared for his brothers.
-Likes the idea of Donnie's trackers, although he never says it aloud.
-Secretly becomes scared, out of sadness, when his brothers or Splinter yell at him.
-Had to learn the hard way that his brothers could protect themselves, and came up with the training idea.
-Enjoys being the caretaker of his brothers.
-Partially mad at Splinter for ditching them.
-Loves when Donnie performs musical numbers when they watch movies.
-Asked Mikey for help when figuring out how to use social media. (poor thing!)
-Crushed every single one of his 27 phones, either from mistake or outright anger, and Donnie has completely lost it, being the one to make all the phones.
-Is the mom when they go out to eat.
-Doesn't have amazing hearing, either from screaming his ears out or born with it, and is conditioned to yelling loudly without making his ears bleed.
-He knows his family loves how incredibly sweet he is, and he loves that.
💛 Mikey~
-Has Wattpad, Tumblr, Snapchat, Tiktok, ProCreate and Pinterest.
-Appreciates his brother's hugs and always claims that they strengthen the family bonds.
-Loves painting April's nails and doing her hair.
-He knows he intimidates his brothers with Dr. Delicate Touch and absolutely loves it.
-Will help Raph name his plushies and arrange them on his bed.
-'Assigned' everyone plushies.
-Has books lining his wall about art, animals and pshycology.
-Became the family therapist because he wanted something to make him stand out. (and because he noticed everyone's insecurities)
-Frighteningly observant.
-Clingy, but takes it to a whole new level after the invasion.
-Helps Casey choose clothes after the apocolypse.
-Helps Donnie save money for the fam.
-Does graffiti all over the lair and on his train car.
-Got a huge plushie for Raph once.
-Chose short mask tails because he wanted to be like Donnie.
-Will paint on his brother's shell sometimes. (Not Donnie's! Don't worry!)
-Thought Raph was the parent when they were younger and was extremely confused when he was forced to learn that Splinter was the Father.
-Get's stickers from April every now and then.

Drawing the boys as humans.
Donnie still draws the brows in his mask. He also fills in his actual brows.
Some notes.
The ends on Leo's hair are bleached. He uses eyeshadow to draw in the read marks.
Mike uses those fun shaped zit stickers. His hair is also dyed colors to correspond with his brothers. Lavender, pink, teal.
Raph does have somewhat curly hair, but he pulls it back and gels it down, so it looks straight from the front. His right eye is messed up from the Krang. And he has an overbite.
Raph and Donnie both have some facial hair. (They're 15/14 of course they do) they all have some acne.
They also all have monolid eyes.
