Rise and Shine - Easter Weekend  @Rise Yoga, Richmond

With the Easter Egg hunt done and dusted, the kids settled happily in the living room to devour all the chocolate they just found, so no better time to skip out and check out Rise Yoga in Richmond.

As an added bonus, they were running a 90 min Hot Flow with Kylie (who was amazing btw). Given that so many of Melbourne’s yoga studios are now shortening their classes to 60 or max 75 min, a 90 min hot flow seemed just perfect for a Sunday morning. 

The studio is upstairs, just near the corner of Church St and Bridge Rd in Richmond, there was plenty of parking nearby and lots of great coffee shops to grab a soy latte after the class. 

I felt welcome from the moment I arrived at the light, airy and spacious studio, and couldn’t wait to get started. 

The class was flowing really well. Intense at the start, restorative towards the end. Most of the participants seemed advanced and happy to push themselves a bit harder. 

A super sweet touch during Savasana - the Easter bunny dropped off a few choc eggs. Just what I needed after a strong, sweaty class x 

As an added bonus, Riseyoga offers the first class free which is an awesome way to check out the vibe and find a connection without feeling the pressure to commit just yet.
