Is it weird I only go to school for creative writing, film studies, the cute history teachers, and the free computer? Yeah...I didn’t think so either.

Week Before Finals
This has been one heck of a year. I have never been so busy in my life! I definitely pushed the limits on what all I could take on. I am proud to say that I held true to all of my obligations and responsibilities. I have had more ups than downs this year but my emotions were definitely all over the place.
I’m thankful that I started off this new year 2015 with a boyfriend. Having that part of my life secure does so much to my psychological stability. It’s hard to focus on work, school, and family when you are having issues with the person you love. I am thankful to have a boyfriend who is in sync with my mind, body, and soul. I love him dearly, and I can’t wait to see all the places that life will take us.
This school year feels like it was two separate years because my first semester and second semester went so differently. I started this year with a roommate who was also my only friend. I’m ending with a room to myself and am entire squad of friends who keep me laughing.
This was also my first year as a mass communications major. I was an English major but I realized that I didn’t want to be a teacher. Instead I liked modern topics and most importantly men’s fashion. I can’t say that I really want to be completely dedicated to fashion, because there are several other things that I would like to voice my opinion on. If I had to choose I would stick with fashion because it is something that I have the most knowledge about and I have established myself the most in.
As this year comes to a close all I can do is think about the stressors that will come from this summer and most importantly this fall. It’s bad to always think about negative things that will stress you out but it’s almost like that’s how my mind operates. I wish it wouldn’t. I wish I never had to worry or stress. We will see what the summer holds for me. I’m looking forward to fulfilling my dreams. It’s just that the hard work that it’s going to take scares me a bit. I will survive. I have to.
