New music: Hopsin having a "Jungle Bash" feat. SwizZz Though his meanwhile third album is due only next friday, skilful L.A. rapper Hopsin uploaded all songs of "Knock Madness" on to his Youtube-Channel yesterday. Check out his 18 new and great tracks and especially this teamwork with his long time collaborator SwizZz: "Jungle Bash" is - compared to the rest of the album - great fun and resembles a bit of goneby Neptunes productions here and there.
New music: Ein Maedchen Aus Sibirien edits "Twist In My Sobriety" Tanita Tikaram was an icon of the late 80s: not only her music was a counterdraft to all the shiny and fancy world of this epoch, but also her fashion style at that times. Mostly you saw the exotic looking daughter of a Fiji-mother and a Malayan father in a daring mixture of femininity and minimalistic androgyny, in large parts dressed in simple black and white. Though she hadn't much success besides her debut album "Ancient Heart" from 1988 she gained a lot of respect for her compositions and her very special dark and gloomy voice. Berlin based DJ and infrequent producer Ein Maedchen Aus Sibirien surely wasn't the first to see the laid back dancefloor- and afterhour-potential of this track. However, since it's fall now and we're all getting a bit more emotional, he edited it for a bit more drive and danceability. We here at riskodisko hq can't actually stop listening to it.
