Doppelganger Danger (RP Starter)

Weeks had passed since that strange small girl had approached the great beast. It seemed that the tale was a one time encounter. After all, the girl had run off on her little quest to save the world, and the old beast had heard nothing since.

And yet...out of the blue one night...something slithered from the same darkness the gnome cleric had disappeared into. It wasn’t the girl, no...but there was something....dangerously sinister eminating from the....thing.

“Ahhh...I can smell it....she’s been here...where is she, it’s still fresh, I know she’s still in this universe somewhere!” It hissed out, like steam bubbling through tar. It looked around, seeming to trace her every movement, before it realized the great beast in front of it. It was a small puddle compared to Risto, and yet it showed absolutely no sign of fear at all. In fact, it didn’t even seem impressed.

“You! Have you seen a creature that looked something like this?

The slime began to shift around a small glowing core. It didn’t have a lot of energy emanating from the middle, as if it was only a small fraction of a much greater piece. It didn’t take long before a familiar shape emerged.

“It had an idiotic smiling face like this. Carefree. Happy. Disgusting.”
