*pulls out a soap box and gets on top* Rita [REDACTED] deserves a girlfriend!! So I made her one.
Everyone meet Neptune Atleir, an old Earth anthropologist with a penchant for collecting vintage fantasy novels. She frequently visits a karaoke bar where she met Rita during a case. Drunk out of her mind, she kissed the lovely lady with a million-mile-an-hour mouth. The next day she came into the office to apologize for her conduct but found that Rita hadn't all that minded.
She is soft spoken and is the ice to Rita's heat, cooling her down and listening to her rants about the newest TV show. They get along swimmingly in a very soft and kind "opposites attract" manner
