Thinking about recovery for whumpees who were raised as such. Shaped by violence and pain from the start, with no "before" to dream about, no one they used to be, no past to fall back on when trying to figure out who they want to be outside of what they were with Whumper.

Trying to explain to Caretaker/the Team that they aren’t broken, there isn't anything to fix-- this is who they have grown into. The only past they had was with Whumper, and trying to erase it feels like having pieces of them carved away. That they just need time to grow.

Funny story idea...

Every god in the pantheon has Isekai'd their own hero into the world. This is too many heroes, all fighting in their own way to achieve the same goal.

Since only one of them can be "God's Chosen Hero destined to save the world!" they aren't just fighting against the big bad, they're even fighting each other!

They are causing too much chaos.

Time to Isekai in a villain to take them out.

You said you weren’t sure how to start it? What if you started it with how Eda ended up with Hunter and then skipped to when Luz shows up? (P.S when exactly does Eda just kinda kidnap Hunter because is he was about 8 that would have been at roughly the same time was King so I’d say it would make sense is Hunter was a little older then that to not mess up with Kings timeline too much)

Yeah makes sense, probably more around 10-12 when Eda nabs him. I was mostly just struggling with if I skip to like, the day after A Lying Witch and A Warden when Hunter is like "oh damn your still here??" at Luz or if I literally just rewrite a Lying Witch and A Warden to make it more understandable or somethin?? But I agree with showing Eda adopting Hunter beforehand!! Good idea anon

fandom i write for: trc at the moment

two shot: i have never written a two-shot in my life, it's either one-shot or multi-chapters

most popular multi-chapter: Sweater Vests & Cigarettes

actual worst part of writing: the worst part of me is just starting lol once I'm started I'm usually okay, but starting is the hardest. Trying to get that opening line can be really difficult. Sometimes, keeping up the motivation is also very difficult for me personally. I have _so_ many ideas and I will sometimes run out of steam on some ideas to make room for others

how you choose your titles: GOD, choosing titles IS actually the wrost part of writing, scratch what I just said. JFC I hate choosing titles lol -- I usually choose them via song lyrics or words I vibe with for the story

do you outline: 95% of the time absolutely not, I don't have the time, the patience, or the desire to do an outline; 5% of the time I will write down 'notes' on a fic, consisting of what i want to have happened and maybe a few scenes or lines I want to throw in, but nothing hardcore outlines ever

ideas I probably won’t get around to but wouldn’t it be nice: I have so many of these, stored away, stuck in my brain somewhere, there are too many ideas in my head to actually do them all, it just wouldn't be possible. However, to choose one, I think I will say: a fantasy au which involves dragons, dragon-riding, and political plotlines. Game of Thrones but better. I don't have the time or patience for this, but would love to see that rovinsky come to life OR a historical au, I _love_ historical au concepts but I also do not enjoy researching for accuracy lol

best writing traits: Dialogue, hmm, I think i'm good with creative plots or story beats

spicy tangential opinion: hmmm, I think writers deserve more love! i also think, as an online community, we need to show authors more love. Readers need to leave kudos and comments, especially comments, and writers we need to really engage with our community. make friends, support one another, stop comparing yourself to others (i know, i do it too), and really just unapologetically write! Tell your story, even if it's been done a million times before, do it anyway. We haven't heard it from you, and that's the most important thing. Also, don't hurt yourself trying to write, especially fanfic. This is for fun! It's not serious. Love yourself, love writing, love your community, love your friends <3
