The first image tends to be the primarily - at least from what i've tested. How long did it take you to get a result you liked?

a looong time! i uploaded my own images of my fc’s and then mix and matched for at least an hour until i got roughly something i was happy with. then i saved that and went on to do fine-tuning that you can do once you created an image then i actually looked at the ‘sibling’ images artbreeder made from the one i created and then i picked one of those so yeah it takes a while if you have a specific image in your head

The door swings open and back shut again, and before anyone else can speak he addresses the person in question:                                                                       ❝   would you like to explain to us how you came to find yourself in our home, my dear?   ❞               & his head cranes in his direction.  Only a mite.     Some of the staff in the room begin to murmur amongst themselves.           ❝   Dreadful suspicious of you to just appear, you understand;  for your sake .. I hope you’ve a reasonable explanation.  ❞        After that, he spins fully and enthusiastically to face the doorway, hauling his hefty hair behind him with one hand, grinning and gleeful.          ❝ I can’t wait to hear it !! ❞

Aw! You are an angel, but you 500% don’t need to. I’ll waste another hour staring at GIFs and stuff and ultimately give up because artsy stuff is hard.
