The talented @bigolefrog did this commission for me of my awoken hunter, Nieve, and my exo warlock, Preacher-7.

I wanted to commemorate obtaining the title of Rivensbane this past January. I had a very rough winter. It was an emotional rollercoaster.

I know Petra’s Run is typically done with the utmost care, but by the end of it all, I had been beaten to hell and back, both in my online life and in life in general. Getting the title provided a lot of closure for me. It felt like I was celebrating how I’ve managed to beat every “boss fight” life has thrown at me thus far and while I didn’t get out unscathed, I didn’t die, and for now that’s the best I can hope for.

Fragment: Rivensbane 1

A fragment about a taken Guardian and her Ghost.

A team of six guardians land at the entrance to the Dreaming City. The tower breaks through the clouds before them, the doors consumed by the taken essence that gnawed its way into the city months ago.

They meet Kalli, the first Techeun to be corrupted by the might of Oryx.

The first Guardian falls to her, and the remaining five find themselves nauseous and dizzy. They blink, each of them returned to their ship floating through the Reef.

The Hunter picks up her comms.

“Petra.”

“Guardian? What happened?” Her voice comes through littered with static.

“Not this time.”

Love it how I told myself I’d get a title in the meantime whilst waiting to unlock Chronicler so I decided to go for fucking Rivensbane and it’s actually going really well???
