well my internal  monologue while im writing is basically

“i’m a amazing writer and people are going to enjoy it even if it’s not my best, because they love me, and i’m one of the best writers ever but that doesn’t mean this sentence doesn’t need to perfect”

do i actually believe that all the time? not exactly, but it’s how i keep myself from thinking on a horrible writer, by roleplaying a egotistical writer in my head, and it works (i got the idea from that post about replacing self-deprecating jokes with things like “i’m the image of beauty and grace) 

as for an actual complaint to myself i’m very skilled with dialogue, and also can write kids well
