DLSZ 13-Under Basketball Team Wins Many
Manila, Philippines— Last school year, DLSZ 13-under basketball team won champions in the leagues PAYA 13-under, LSMS 13-under, and MSSA 13-under. The team is composed of Coach Romel Felix, Team Consultant Warren Capitan, Team Captains Monzie Del Prado and Carlos Gatmaytan, Franco Roldan, Martin Romero, Andre Ong, Aikee Yabut, Anton Silva, Ramy Cousart, Judge Manzano, Seth Catalan, Julio Banzon, Miguel Domingo, Kyne Samson, Josh Patricio, Nathan Punongbayan, and River Joseph.
They are the first DLSZ basketball team to win champions in the PAYA tournament. At the same time, they went undefeated. They defeated the Ateneo blue eagles in the blue eagles gym. It was the first time they joined the league MSSA.
Undeniably, this team will go down in history as one of the best grade school basketball teams.
