I was so excited at seeing two kingfishers together for the first time that I did not even mind being unable to get both in focus at the same time.

Back to civilization after a week long camping and paddling trip with a few friends. Went 70 miles total and packed in and out all my gear. Stayed in primitive camp sites along the river. Wasn’t easy at times managing heavy gear bags and pulling my canoe off and through rocky areas. Definitely used a lot of upper body strength and felt it in my shoulders and back after a few days. But I made it through and went to bed at sundown and got up at sunrise and continued on my way. So many amazing views and such a peaceful and recharging adventure! Thought I’d share just a few sights from along my way.
