River, Storm, and Pyro find themselves in a little...predicament in the southern oasis.
Yes I wrote out an old sketch thing I made a while ago props to you if you remember it.
River clapped his hands together. "OKAY. What are our options here?" asked the blonde.
Storm moved some of his hair out of his face, downing the blue elixir in his hands to try and stave away the almost-suffocating heat from the desert. The sapphires in the headband of his Voe set did their job in cooling his body down, but it wouldn't hurt to have extra protection.
"Well, we're stuck on top of his hunk of rock," Pyro spoke up, taking a big bite of an apple in his hands. "We're running out of chilly elixirs, Forest is off at Vah Naboris doing goddesses-know-what with the sheikah slate, and there's an oversized worm circling us down there."
River's ear twitched. "I asked for options," he clarified, giving Pyro the most optimistically intense look.
Even Storm, who felt the most at home in the desert despite the monsters lurking underneath the sand, was stumped on this one. "We could use our paraglider?" he suggested.
"All three of us? We'd crash before we got anywhere," Pyro pointed out.
Storm cringed inwardly at the memory of all four of them clinging to each other (and their paraglider) as they first made their way to the ruined kingdom of Hyrule. It was...less than graceful. Storm was pretty sure that for all the scars on his body, he gained a new one during the crash.
"What about sand seals?" the purple Link asked.
"There aren't any close enough. Besides they take a while to catch," River replied with a jealous twinge. Sand seals, for whatever reason, had always hated him. At least River thought they did. They always ran away, in contrast to Storm's near-effortless approach to catching and taming the wild ones.
"So that's a no...you think we could fight it?" Pyro asked.
There was a low rumble that shook all three of them to the bone. The massive monster that had been circling them leapt out of the sand, finally showing its full form. And this molduga was massive, landing back in the sand and scrambling it's way back underneath.
Silence from all three of the stranded heroes, staring down at the sand where the beast was still lurking. River and Storm wore a look of horror, while Pyro was...surprisingly calm.
"Welp," said the Link in red, "we're dead."
