👁️, 🤥, 👻, 💥, 😭, 👊, 💢, 👪, 😨, 💤
👁️ EYE - what colour are their eyes? do people notice their eyes? is there anything special about them (shows emotion easily, literally magical…)?
ARIA. the bluest blue, to contrast with a very pale skin. when she was younger, they thought she had albinism, but the bright color in her eyes proved them wrong. she's very expressive, and her eyes mirror her soul and every single emotion she's going through. if she's happy, sad, confused or upset, her eyes will let you know. MAL. another blue eyed child. his are harder to read- he's always frowning, there's always some kind of darkness shadowing them, so it's not easy to note the color. he has moments of light where you can almost see the child that still lives inside him that could never actually exist. IVAN. not everyone notice the hazel shade of his eyes, because not many people actually look him in the eyes. they have a heaviness on them, that can only mean he has seen the worst things a human eye can ever see. it's not a stare that's easy to hold. IZZY. her face has usually the same expression, but her brown eyes are always what give her away. she barely looks at people in the eyes, she hates when people notice hers, because she thinks it's giving them a lot of power over her.
🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they’re lying?
ARIA. a terrible liar. she stutters and stumbles a lot, and eventually has to tell the truth before it gets worse. DAX. a great liar. it's actually a talent. IZZY. not a liar, but she knows how to change the conversation to favor her, if she wants to avoid saying something. ELLA. an innate liar. she hates doing it, but she knows how to twist the truth her way.
👻 GHOST - do they believe in ghosts? what are their “ghostly experiences”, if any?
ARIA. a believer 100%. she will tell you all about ghosts, spirits, fairies, and how she speaks to them as if they were her guiding angels. IVAN. he believes in ghosts, because he has seen a bunch since he's been working at the cemetery. sometimes it's not an actual sight but a feeling, or a voice he hears inside his mind. they used to chill him to the bone, now he's actually lonely if he's not around them.
💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?
MAL. anger. IVAN. frustration, sadness. ELLA. rejection, fear. IZZY. rejection, abandonment. ARIA. loneliness. DAX. sadness, hopelessness. RIVER. love, acceptance.
😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?
ARIA. beautiful things make her cry the most. IZZY. anger and frustration- not being able to do what she actually wants to do out of fear. DAX. impotence- not being able to help people with their emotions. RIVER & IVAN. loneliness, and memories from the past.
👊 PUNCH - are they quick to violence?
MAL & DAX. absolutely. if they see any sort of start of any kind of altercate, they will not think about it twice before throwing hands as well. if they see an injustice, they will be the first to throw a punch.
💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?
RIVER. going around naked the entire time, his neediness and how much he speaks. MAL. his low tolerance to frustration, and his need to punch a pillow to keep himself from punching holes in the wall. DAX. his lying, and attempts to cover up reality. IZZY. being so damn stubborn she will not rest until things are her way, and she is told she is right. she usually is either way.
👪 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is your ocs relationship to them? does your oc have any siblings?
DAX. he resents his entire family. he was the one to find his mother dead in the pool, and yet it seems like they all seem to forget to ask if he's okay, or how he's dealing with things. perhaps his attitude has earned him that position, but he would love to be shown some interest from his sisters, or his father- something that isn't about taking care of them, or being mindful of them and how hard things are for them. things are hard for him too.
😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into “flight” or “fight”?
MAL, IZZY, DAX, RIVER. fight. IVAN, ELLA, ARIA. flight.
💤 SLEEPING - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep?
ARIA. NO. weed, arts and crafts. DAX. NO. weed, music, tinder. IVAN. NO. breathing deeply, counting sheep. MAL. NO. working out, knowing his siblings are safe. RIVER. NO. weed and a good cuddle.
IZZY. YES. passes out like a baby if she's tired enough. ELLA. YES. she listens to meditation videos on youtube.
