My first Location is a small pocket of refreshing nature in Watford... Cassiobury Park!
Cassiobury Park is great Location for fishing as it harbours various superb alternative fishing sources all of which run through the park. The most common river fished in the park would be the River Gade. This river runs alongside the main path way which leads to the children's play area, fun train and paddling pools. Cassiobury park is a great day out for you and the family so they can enjoy the park while you can delve away into the brush in search of some illusive chub or barbel! The next location which is commonly known throughout the UK is the Grand Union Canal. The GUC in the Watford area is controlled by Watford Piscators, Day tickets are available on the bank.( www.watfordpiscators.co.uk ) The Watford Piscators stretch of the Grand Union Canal is renowned as one of the best stretches. There are some Carp into the twenty's with great chub, perch and even the odd barbel!
Grand Union Canal Watford.
Cassiobury Park is easily located with many car parks an a very local train station, Watford Metropolitan which is no more than 100 yards from the park. With plenty of walk ways and cycle paths to make your way around the park.
