Manaka stays with Hitomi during her pregnancy. Hitomi's crush reaches a boiling point, and she's left with the choice -- will she let it crush her, or their friendship?

Manaka collapses back onto the bed in Hitomi's room. Her stuff is in the guest room, but they've been sleeping in the same bed since Manaka's morning sickness kicked in. It's eased up now, luckily, but the second trimester has brought different kinds of symptoms.

Hitomi is trying her best to be a good best friend and host. Her crush on Manaka won't stop her from being the best friend she can be. She'd managed to be normal when Manaka had to go bra shopping because her breasts had started to swell, even though she wanted very badly to do something indecent in that dressing room when Manaka had asked her how she looked.

Maternal fashion wasn't supposed to be sexy, but Hitomi thinks Manaka could have pulled anything off.

Espella waits in the woods for the Great Witch to come.

(A roleplay scenario in which Espella is the latest young woman to be ritually sacrificed to the Great Witch in exchange for Labyrinthia's safety. Written for the @femslashbigbang April monthly challenge.)

Espella gingerly sits on the ground. She was sent off entirely naked save for her cloak, the only modesty permitted.

Today, she is the sacrifice to the Great Witch of these woods. In exchange for her maidenhood, the village of Labyrinthia will be protected.

The sun dapples her skin pleasantly. Today is a warm summer's day, a reason she had been willing to comply with the insistence on her nudity. It’s…relaxing, almost. A slight breeze tickles her skin, causing her nipples to stiffen.

(When is Eve going to show up? They hadn’t scripted every part of this, but surely…)

As though she had been reading Espella's mind, the Great Witch melts out of the shadows.

“A curious choice of sacrifice,” she comments. “I would never expected the village to be willing to send their princess to die.”

As the glass shatters, every part of Rose is pressed against her. They go flying through, and--

Rose is kissing her, all ferocity and tongue and teeth. Cassie bites back, almost shoves Rose away, but they're a hundred feet off the ground and that's a death sentence for Rose.

"What the hell are you thinking?" Cassie demands, heat rising in her face.

"Shut up just this once, will you?" Rose demands, gripping Cassie's hair in one hand, yanking on it to pull her closer. Cassie hates the way her eyes flicker to Rose's mouth, curled into a smirk. She hates even more the heat pooling in her stomach.

“You should blindfold me,” Junpei proposes in the afterglow, and though it’s an impulse he finds that he does mean it. “Next time, I mean.”

Light hums, considering it. “A possibility, to be sure.”

“I mean, uh, it doesn’t have to be just a sex thing,” Junpei continues.

“I…feel as though it would be more kinky if I blindfolded you outside of a sexual context,” Light answers, though Junpei can almost hear him laugh, if he listens closely to the words.

“It’s not…inherently a turn-on? That’s not why I said it, at least.” Junpei turns over to face the ceiling. “I just…I want to connect with you.”

“I’d say we’re already fairly connected,” Light answers. “Or did you not forget what we were doing merely ten minutes ago?”

Junpei can feel heat rising to his face. “I mean…you process the world differently, you know? And I like that about you. But I wanna try to…process things the same way.”

“It took a great deal of effort and readjustment,” Light says. “It’s naive to believe you can master finetuning your senses to the degree I have with a few sessions under a blindfold.”

“That’s fair,” Junpei admits. “I’m not really expecting to, though?” He doesn’t really know what to expect. “I don’t need to really get what you’re feeling for this to work. But I want to. That’s all.” He shrugs. “And if it does turn out to be a kink thing for me, then…I’ll have figured out something else about myself because of you.”

Joshua and Shiki are friends with benefits to distract themselves from the person they both want. But when Neku comes back into their lives again, they have to start planning their next steps.

On top of that: Shibuya's Producer is getting transferred to another district, which means it's time to either pick a successor or let the Higher Plane do it. Joshua's determined to have the choice, but his top pick's not sure about it.

Hitomi makes a mistake, even though she's not the one dating someone else.

(Inspired by the reverse AITSF character poll on Twitter.)

Hitomi despises Manaka's boyfriend. She's been keeping his identity under wraps, so all Hitomi really knows right now is that he's an older man — like way older than them. She's worried that Manaka might not be…making the wisest decision.

Then again, Hitomi could just be jealous. After all, she's in love with Manaka — and she’s never said a word. Now her worst fears are confirmed (Manaka is straight) and her worst nightmare (Manaka is taken) have come to fruition.

Deep breaths. She'll manage. It doesn't really change anything that Manaka is dating someone for real now. It isn’t as though Hitomi ever had a chance to begin with. After all, what were the odds that none of them were straight?
