Speak To Me || Mother & Daughter || {10/30/13}
A lot of times when Amy was growing up and made friends, she wondered what it would be like if she had met them when they were all younger. Growing up where she did, she had an interesting experience with little kids when she was one. They weren’t so nice, at all. So, from then on, she basically assumed all younger kids were prats. Since she didn’t have to deal with them, it didn’t matter too much. Amy kept it at the back of her mind. That was until she met the younger version of her little brother. A version who had gone through so much but was kind and sweet, but what stuck out the most was how unimportant he felt.
But it all made sense to her. Why John would understand certain things without her having to say anything, where his low self esteem came from. Amy felt a mix of anger and a sadness that she hadn’t felt in a while. Mostly angry at this point, how someone could treat John so horribly. Even more than that, how he could believe it all and how it still carried with him. She wanted to find his mother and sister and give them a good talking to, at least, but she knew that once someone was gone, once they had left, they didn’t want to be found. His sister didn’t and frankly, didn’t deserve someone as wonderful as him to have as a brother. Maybe it was best that she had left at that point but to knowingly leave him with their mother?
Amy’s mind was mulling over everything as she walked to her mum’s room. The redhead knew it had effected River as much as it did her seeing as River had actually reached out to her. When she got to her door, she knocked out of courtesy even though she knew she was allowed to just come right in.
