Master list of community lots I want in my world

An overdue update

I've done some major updates to the town, mainly the central island area: added more streetlights, rebuilt some fences, added the produce stands (that came with Monte Vista gold edition, I think) to one of the parks, added a subway station and converted the hangout into a dive bar. Then I moved the fishing hatchery lot a bit further from the industrial part of town and started building a film studio lot in its place. It also has a subway station. Three other places that have them is the lot with the business building on it, a brand new rebel hangout I built in the trailer park area (that possibly will no longer have trailer parks) and the lot I built where the school used to be. It is my designated supernatural lot that has a garden with all the perfect plants (except for those that came with Showtime and Pets, I adore the content that came with it, but it destroys gameplay so much that I can't handle it), a fortune telling caravan, an arboterium, an elixir consignment store, broom riding area and so on.

As for the new residents, I created the Underwood family from House of Cards but made Peter Russo their son teehee. Also gave them a brownstone. I obviously need to post pictures but I don't have them at hand right now.

One major issue that I have with this whole project is that despite its beauty, Riverview is just a bit too boring for me. The two towns I really enjoy playing are Lucky Palms and Aurora skies, but there aren't enough beautiful vista lots for me. Moreover, I adore mid-century modern, but the terrain and feel in Lucky Palms are just not versatile enough for me in terms of seasons. I might just switch to Aurora Skies after all. Barnacle Bay could also have worked had it not crashed my game. Ugh at EA, honestly.

Since I do want the objects and the cas items from Pets and Showtime, I'm on the lookout for them made base game compatible, but it feels like I'll have to do Showtime myself since no-one ever does it. It seems fairly simple and I tested my abilities with the Anniversary Watch that came in Seasons, except I want a lot of objects so it's going to take awhile.

What is Riverview Today?

As much as I love the sims, I've run into some issues with my gameplay. Some of those have successfully been fixed with various mods like mastercontroller, story progression, errortrap and others, others I just have to live with. This includes the ridiculous outfits and hair my sims get as they reach the next life stage. Restyling them takes ages and almost makes it not worth it, so I decided to have a 'base save' that I can use all the time. I tried other neighborhoods but it looks like I'm stuck with Riverview because it lags the least (for me), has some beautiful vista lots and let's be real it's pretty and has the potential to be even prettier. My main goal is to make this world more current. Here are some of the things I'm going to do to achieve this:

1. Build/edit/redecorate lots. Duh. Note: will have to move gravestones from all the lots to the graveyard so the game doesn't break.

2. Get some of the existing sims together so they have families and this town doesn't die down. Also maybe create new sims so there's more diversity.

3. Makeovers!

4. Make it Late Night friendly

5. Make it University Life friendly

6. Build houses to house up to 8 sims

7. More backstories: celebrities, real housewives type characters, career-oriented, immigrants, multiple generations, more recurring sims characters, aliens, etc.

So it begins!
