“In Action” @riyadhmarathon_ I only started making a conscious effort to do running in 2020. That’s when I felt confident that I could already do it given the circumstances I was subjected to from that life-changing challenge in 2018. The phrasal verb “subjected to” implies being under an unpleasant situation. The thing is, that challenge I was talking about paved the way for me to start running because, apparently, it’s an essential part of the “programme”. The next thing I knew, I’m doing it as a second sporting activity. Prior to doing this sport, I’m content at watching marathoners from the sidelines as well as cheering them on to keep going and not give up. The thing that has always kept me amazed about them is their stamina. The idea of doing something that keeps you moving for hours or for more than an hour (for the less-experienced ones) is dope! In badminton, a good match only takes 20 minutes on average. I don’t like to use the word “delusion” for what I’m about to say but I couldn’t find better one. So, yeah, in that state, I kind of want to be leaner, stronger, healthier, and fitter to survive the world we’re headed😊I’m secretly (no more because of this) training to outrun and adapt to the impending V.A. These insanely long runs you see people participate in? I see it as a big advantage in the fulfillment of the essential set of skills and abilities for that world. That’s story in the middle is a bluff, of course 😊 I’m doing this now new (to me) sporting activity to build and improve stamina for badminton💪🏽 📸 @sportograf #experbia #riyadhconnect #livelovesaudia #riyadhtours #lovinsaudi #skyline #saudimoments #saudi_arabia #everydaysaudi #destinationksa #destinationriyadh #saudiimages #welcomesaudi #storiesofthewanderingfeetandmind #riyadhphoto #saudilife #ofwdiaries #explorearabia #shotoniphone #theresalwayssomethingbeautifuloutofthemundane #riyadhtoday #visitsaudi (at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbFGIwIKGBQ/?utm_medium=tumblr
