Riys didn't get the lycanthrophy gene but he IS a druid with a lot of control over his wild shape, and I think that's close enough to get some puppy playtime in

Don't you just love it when every single one of your electronics breaks on vacation and you have to put all your art projects on hold for almost 3 weeks...

I FINALLY got a replacement laptop so I doodled this to celebrate, as I won't be able to work on the Big Project much until I finish moving next week. Neph loves turning into big, fluffy maine coon cats, and you bet she will use that as an excuse to pry more affection out of her wife. This tactic works significantly less well when Neph takes a giant spider form.

Ft. their son, who is also a druid fond of cats, begging for attention in the corner. Really gotta draw him more.

Been thinking about how Neph doesn't really know how hugs work. Showing platonic affection? That's a thing??

Neph oscillates between a very loving and doting mother and possibly the most neglectful and misandrist Boy Mom to ever exist. At least she 'hires' a babysitter (Vulnaar already lives in their house) instead of leaving them home alone, right??

Neph and Urchil have many quarrels about his hair, because Neph wants it Long and Beautiful whereas Urchil wants it Out Of His Damn Face What If Someone Attacks Him, Mom.

I still find Shadowheart tough to draw, sorry for not including her this time </3

A baby, perhaps a few months old, as still, quiet, and dark as night. His eyes were closed, as though sleeping. Shadowheart pulled off her cloak to wrap him before noticing he was already freezing.

“He's—He's cold. You said he would be alive!”

And he is, the archfey replied, sounding unbothered. I have granted you your boon. Our deal is complete.

Aaaand here's sketchdump (Riys' Version)! The other Night Sly kid. His design is 100% a combination of different traits from both parents, sometimes mixing the two (like his skin tone. gods, was that hard to get right). His personality is the same! He was lucky enough to get a shred of actual soul/independence, at least...

Similarly, he gets his druidism from his mother! And he was raised a Selunite, though he eventually went to follow God Gale too, much to both parent's chagrins. He's very much a free spirited heartthrob and heartbreaker, and he and Urchil could not be more opposites. Where Urchil is cautious, Riys is blowing himself up experimenting with different electronics. Urchil is an introvert, Riys is the life of the party... yeah. He didn't quite inherit Shadowheart's subtlety.
