For canon trinkets. Fabian and I kept those shitty cheap friendship necklaces i got in sophomore year until his broke in combat (he refused to take it off). Afterwards we just got matching rings because they were less of a hassle but I did keep the necklace since I still had it. I'd do anything to get my cheesy best friends forever necklace or my completely platonic non romantic promise ring back (it's not like we didn't know it looked super gay, we just thought that was funny, especially because we both knew we were aro at that point). Please oh my god.

My briefcase and my watch would also be pretty cool. Relatively useless without the magic but still, they were gifts from people I loved that I had on my person at all times. I'm sentimental about them.

I spent a lot of time at Fabian's, and even though he pretended to still think I'm lame (I mean. I was.) the Hangman did eventually warm up to me. In the winter he'd let me curl up against him in hound form. He was warm. He said his eternal hellfire was serious and dangerous and not to be used as a heating pad but I think he enjoyed the cuddling too. It's winter, and my chronic pain and other issues get worse with the cold. I miss my best friend, but right now I miss my best friend's dog even more. Save me Hangman :( I'm freezing and I miss doing my homework on you.

This feels like a weird thing to say but I've been remembering what most of my friends smelled like and I'm very happy about it. It's always like, smelling a scent and going "Oh yeah. That's you. I love you." Penny and Fabian scent memories are the most vivid. I was always all over Fabian or in his battle sheet all the time, and I'd known Penny for much longer and spent the most time with her, so it makes sense I remember them better.

I feel like I didn't say it enough, even though I started saying it a lot at some point haha, but I miss you all and I love you forever. Fabian gets an extra special personal I love you because I know you'd complain about not getting one <3

I don't know if this is actually funny but it's funny to me, in a bout of hypomanic impulsivity I almost got a night yorb tattoo again. Across my chest and everything. The only reason I didn't was because I couldn't find a tattoo artist nearby on the fly, if I lived closer to the one I like I might have done it. It would have been awful and I would have had to live with it

I think, that maybe, a part of me was kinda hoping to make anything real again, even if it'd be a really bad thing. I won't psychoanalyse myself right now, though. Too tired. I cut my hair myself and it's really shitty so I might just buzz it off for now, maybe I'll dye it green some time who knows. I'd look a little less like this body and a little more like the me I once was.

But hm...I'm still stuck on replicating some of my old tattoos. They were objectively awful in that life but here I could justify them as silly fandom tattoos and they'd have some lighthearted emotional value to me. Definitely not full body this time and I will not be intoxicated or a minor while getting them so I think that's an upgrade. Maybe just on my arm, it's mostly free.
