Chocolat, SM Mall of Asia

Now I think it's quite obvious that I'm such a sucker of sweets. Chocolates, cupcakes and milkshakes are just few of my antidote. And I was so glad to discover this new place to chill, well not actually new, new. Well, if Starbucks and other coffee shops are like your second home (wherein you almost spent most of your time), you'll feel the same thing when I said this one's new. Chocolat, is a small place hidden at Mall of Asia North Parking.

Chocolat - Death by Tablea Php 80.00A chocolate cake with bittersweet icing made with native cacao and condensed milk. I died when I tasted this! Filipinos must really love chocolates! And you know, we all wanted to try different variants of chocolates, yea? Chocolat - Carrot Cake I'm honestly not a Carrot cake lover, but when I tasted this, it changes everything. I guess, this actually made me realize, "why not give carrot cake a try?". Chocolat - Red Velvet cupcake Php 35.00 If you're reading some of my posts, whenever and wherever I saw a bakery selling red velvets, I would buy it. What can I say? Red Velvets are my angels. I didn't enjoy this one though, the cream filling is not of a top notch. Chocolat - Spanish Hot Chocolate Php 55.00 Made from the finest cocoa tablets from Davao.

AFTER MUCH THINKING, WE FINALLY SAID GOODBYE TO BAKING SUPPLIES AND DECIDED TO TAKE THE PLUNGE AND OPEN OUR FIRST DESSERTS-ONLY MALL BRANCH!" - CHOCOLAT

New Year, Another New Beginning?

First and foremost, I would like to greet everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! (This is actually my first official post. And I'll be updating this blog daily.)

Hoping that all of us had a blast and a great start!

So lets talk about New Years Eve, shall we? But hey! Before anything else, we attended the anticipated NY Mass, to thank God for everything he has showered upon us, and for we are so Blessed that we always have each other. Nothing beats a complete family that celebrates the New Year together, right? So my family and I celebrated NYE at home with all the foods, fireworks and stuff. Oh, did I mention that we're obliged to wear RED?

And with that, we are starting our year completely, with a family full of warmth and love.

SO... ITS ON! Hello there, 2013!!

The start of new beginnings as they say, and of course I won't argue with that because it is true. But the moment we wake up, that of every second, minute, hour of every day that God has given to us is also a new beginning, a new start to correct whatever wrong decisions or actions we've made on our past and the not so distant past. And I believe that it's wiser to think that new beginnings aren't just that of New Year's. We should not just wait for another year just to be a better person, yes? So live life, enjoy every moment of everyday. Love, forgive and forget.
