Relearning to draw at the moment after a good time away and took a stab at trying digital now that ive picked up a new tablet

So of course the first thing i draw is my old Star Wars OC 🤠

🖊 🖊 🖊 Riz!!

Send me a “🖊+an OC“ and I will talk about that OC! It can be a headcanon, a fun fact, a small paragraph of backstory- anything! Oh boy there is so much Riz stuff I could talk about! (although honestly i should write it down more so i dont forget 😅 ) Recently  (well a few months back but yee) in our campaign Riz was replaced by the person she was cloned from. She woke up without her jumpsuit on a broken ship with all her crewmates gone and no clue about what had happened beyond that her template had been there.  Riz managed to get the ship functional enough to limp to the nearest system and throw up a distress call which brought her into contact with a former imperial pilot Fadre Oli. Fadre helped Riz’zal get back on her feet and track down her crew over the next month or two and the two grew closer (although they were both like “oh no shes just being nice” about each other ). After this month or so they managed to track down where the crew/ ship had gone and Fadre dropped Riz off at the world.  At the time the two weren’t really ready to be open about their feelings with each other and it was a little bit of an awkward goodbye before Fadre flew back to her home. However in the following weeks Riz couldn’t get Fadre out of her mind and slowly realised her feelings for her.  Recently the crew got invited to a swanky casino (dont remember exactly why but someone there is suss iirc) and so Riz found a way to contact Fadre and invited her along to travel with them and visit the casino as her +1. Their trip through hyperspace brought them closer again and Riz revealed her feelings to Fadre and the two have started a relationship.  However after our casino arc is done Fadre will have to leave as she has commitments to the rebel alliance that she can’t walk away from. 

Still trying to figure out where Riz’s allegiance would lie in regards to the two main factions in the galaxy, she was created in an imperial lab above Fondor 3 years earlier, part of a project by a Moff to clone his best field operative for some sort of mission or goal. She’s been on the run from the two ever since but not entirely certain if she would view the entire empire as her enemy or just the group, especially since she only exists because of the empire and just wants to get away from the Moff and her template. She’s just trying to survive and beyond that she doesn’t give things much thought. 

But living with the crew and her growing relationship has her thinking about the future more, beyond just her immediate survival and running from place to place.

5: Does your OC get lost easily? What do they do when they do get lost?

Riz’zal doesn’t like to go out without a plan of where theyre going, theyll go over maps and spend time making sure they know whatever they can about where theyre going so that they dont get lost. However if something happens to take them off their planned route, they quickly get muddled up 

7: Realistically, could your OC (in their normal circumstances- i.e. at thier own house/battlecamp/spaceship etc.) keep a small child alive for a week if they had to?  A Dog?  A Houseplant? A rock with a  smiley face painted on?

Not sure if Riz could look after a child for a week at the moment, they're still figuring out how to look after themselves better as it is at the moment aha. Doesn’t help that the crew mostly go after bounties at the moment so probably not a safe environment to look after a kid. A plant they probably could look after for a week

12: What perfectly-normal-to-them-thing does your OC do that confuses/pisses off/terrifies thier neighbors?

Riz pretty much lives in the engine room of the ship, Twi’leks come from a desert world and so she in turn loves the heat. So if she has to go to a more temperate world she wears a big puffy coat to keep as warm as possible. If she ever had to go to hoth? Heck she’d probably be in like 50 layers while sitting in front of a space heater ahaha. 

15: How often does your OC “zone out” or do things on autopilot and how severe have the problems that have arisen from that been?

I don’t know if it’d be classed as zoning out or hyperfocus but Riz will tend to get really stuck into her work to the detriment of pretty much everything else. For the most part this just results in her Caf going cold or missing the occasional walk in customer/ delivery. But on occasion it can lead to serious problems such as not noticing that someone was being kidnapped from the ship they live on because they were super focused on installing a new docking port on the fighter landed next to it.
