Their last conversation had been better, Joonyoung would say his brother was being cruel at the time; locking him in a room with Mina until they sorted their things out. But he guessed, it opened doors and it opened a way for him to ask her to come eat pizza with him. His fingers played with the two pills of pain relief for his wrist, awkwardly using his left hand to bring the white circles to his lips, before he was drinking down water. Hand wiped the back of his mouth as he glanced around the pizza place, it was a good place; had had good reviews, or according to his brother. Again, the money placed in his hands with the promise to make up with Mina. ‘She’s like a little sister, Youngie. Whatever happened, family. Remember Halmeoni.’
The older Jung brother kept using that reason lately; family.
An annoyed noise came from Joonyoung’s lips when he shifted his arm, and the awkwardness of the cast led him to knock things to the floor. Crinkles scrunched in his nose as he shifted, soon leaning over to pick up what he’d knocked over. Elbows pressed into his knees as he exhaled a stale kind of a breath, one held onto when he tried to ignore everything for the last few months. He’d admitted to Mina, he’d told her that there were things going on; that taste of the words, ‘it’s all too much’, stuck to the roof of his mouth. He told he wanted to breathe, he would get there; he just needed a chance to breathe. His hand pressed the clatter objects back onto the table surface in a hazardous puzzle, one by one. He wanted to fix things, pick them all up again. Today, was another piece of his friendship with Mina.
They had been so close before. He hoped they could return that.

it was a decision that she made on the spur of the moment. she needed.. something. she didn’t know what it was. he was in one of his moods and it was lasting quite a while. as much as she had promised herself that she wouldn’t bend, she wouldn’t allow herself to turn in on herself when he got like this, it was hard. pretending nothing hurt was hard.
so yes, this was a spur of the moment decision but it was something that she needed. mina stepped out from the taxi and breathed in the fresh air, inhaling and exhaling like there could be nothing sweeter than breathing.
“rome?” she thought she saw him now, and she waved and smiled and hurried over as fast as she could without looking overeager. “hey, it’s been awhile. i hope you carry our photo booth pictures in your wallet.” she teased.
Dabin and Seik told him he was too much, thought that Rome was going over his limit and he’d shrug every time it was brought up. He had to go through this to be okay, he knew that much. At least he was conscious of it. Two pitchers was a lot considering he’d already gone through most of one on his own. His limit wasn’t as high as he pretended it was but she asked for snacks too.
‘You eat when you drink, you can handle more liquor.’
He lived by that and used it as an excuse so often, why not use it as an excuse one more time? They were leaving to meet up witht he rest of Kill.u.strate and he complained, telling them to stay and at least say hi to “Mina” but they left him with his alcohol, their greetings, and a wish for him to at least go back to their place and sleep. If only they knew Rome hated sleep then, he felt too motionless; everything was too still. Why waste time laying down like that?
Chuckling when he spotted her, he rose from his seat, arms engulfing her in a hug before anything else. “Beautiful Miss Mina,” he grinned, thinking back to their first time drinking together. “If I do, do I get a reward?” Rome pulled out her seat for her, not holding back as he told her, “hope you were serious about drinking tonight. I don’t plan on calling it a night anytime soon.”

[/Sehun let out a tired sigh as he let himself fall back on the bed and covering his eyes with his arm. He felt tired and troubled, still shaken about what had happened between him and his brother Chanyeol and the thought made him sigh for the second time. He wouldn’t be surprised if the news had reached his parents or anyone in the family considering the impressive crowd they had gathered but he wasn’t sure if he could face anyone or worse, their parents and explain stuff just yet. There is however, one person who would understand everything without asking for some kind of explanation from him. He isn’t one to vent out stuff but right now he thinks doing just that wouldn’t be too bad. Sehun reached for his phone from his bedside table and dialled his cousin’s number. It rang for a fraction of forever before the call connected.]Hello, noona? It’s Hunnie… uhm… are you busy?[/He asked, being able to speak in his mother language already making him feel better.]

How could two people living together could not see each other at all? well Hanbin ought to answer that question as ‘yes, it’s possible’ then finally proving it wrong afterwards. Hanbin could not express so much gratitude to that fact that his best friend just took him in months ago with total understanding. And his proud and guilty at the same time.
Proud that she’s halfway there-- she’s long been scouted and has achieved so much. Guilty because years back, he promised to be on the same stage with her and he’s still crawling. He’s so much guilty of the fact that he can’t hold her hand in walking towards that road when she’s too far ahead. And maybe that’s one of the many reasons they hardly see each other under the same roof.
It’s midnight and Hanbin closes the door; tired. But then he hears the kitchen sink and the sound of plates weakly bumping against each other. So, instead of walking pass to his room, he stops and stares at the figure he has not seen for so long. He walks closer and closer until a few feet separates them. He doesn’t say anything and just wraps his arms around his best friend.
