the end began with lipstick marks. ~ narae ♥
It always started with just that: a kiss. A teasing one that manages to illicit soft giggles and fleeting touches. That slowly turns into a little game of pursed lips and softs gasps. It starts out with just a kiss but it always develops to so much more.
Just as it started with a kiss, that’s exactly how it ended. Tender ones followed by a flush of colour to tint cheeks rosy and a small breath of nervous laughter. The kisses weren’t direct. Firstly just platonic before they grew in meaning. First just tentative kisses on the cheek before made braver and ventured towards a truer destination. Cheek, temple, nose, forehead and finally lips brush against lips. Sweet, true and managed to conjure up more butterflies than the other ever managed.
No, they were no longer kisses shared between the two females. The differences in their meanings of their touches had created a rift between them by that time; one left to move on and the other left bitterly watching as the other female moved on with a new guy. Cute, younger and possibly safer than she was. Less damage was dealt this way.
Narae would only be ever able to watch as Sohee was happier with someone else that wasn’t her. A guy that decisively gave her everything she didn’t get around to. It all started with a kiss. And a kiss was what sealed their fate.
