Bear Meets Vampire SuperNova

Seulgi had been wandering all over the city handing out her flyers, when she finally notices how close she is to the Nova building and she wonders if she might run into Wendy while she’s out and about.  

Instead of her best friend, she spots Wendy’s coach from the MGAs instead, Ricky.  Even though he’s with another company, she decides she’ll offer him a flyer anyway. “Hi! Would you be interested in a flyer about upcoming events at Sphere Entertainment?” she asks, a grin on her face.  "I don’t know if you remember me, but I was in the MGAs this season on Luna’s team,“ she explained, hoping she wasn’t bothering him.  "It’s nice to meet you in person, make sure to take care of Wendy for me, okay? She’s my best friend in the world!”  she couldn’t help but praise her “wife” to anyone that would listen.  "Also…“ she leaned a little closer to whisper to him so no one else would hear.  "Did you know someone is writing vampire fanfiction about you and Huidong from your company?  I saw it online when I was searching up Nova things…someone with Lizzard for their screenname…”

“Ah-” he starts a little, his attention having been entirely focused on the screen of his phone. But he returns her smile with a polite one of his own, “I do remember you. You were really good!” His enthusiasm is genuine. He’d desired on more than one occasion that she’d end up on his team, her dance skills and well-rounded potential a magnet for anyone who knew how cutthroat Nova could be. He’s content with how everything ultimately turned out, but he can’t help but wonder if she might’ve accepted one of the contract spots left open by Mijoo and Seokjin. 

“I will,” he promises lightheartedly, tucking the flier into the pocket of his hoodie, unable to stop the wondering of how well she fits in where she ended up.

He’s considering asking when she pipes up again, uttering something about fanfiction and vampires that makes him pull away and stare at her with wide eyes like she’s just admitted to having a tail.

“Eh??” It comes with the territory, but he hadn’t expected it so early on in his career. And with Huidong of all people? “Me and hyung?” He makes a face,”Why would they write about that?”

"Just stay here, Joonyoung-hyung~" The male dancer was full of energy and aeygo -- and Joonyoung could only dully stare at him through the dark shades. He had a hangover; he had spent the night before at a club and he had drunk far more than his slim body could handle. Now he was paying for it. They were inside and it was still to bright for him. Nonetheless, he had spent a large amount of his time perfecting his hair style and dressing for the warm weather. The patterned shorts hung at his knees, the graphic shirt and his arms covered with dark bracelets.

"Why? Why? Why bring me hear if you're going to leave me?" He complained in a strained voice, as he might have visited a noraebang in the late hours. The only answer he got was a playfully strung 'just wait, I'll be back' as the younger ditched him.

This left Joonyoung alone, to fall asleep in an empty practice room -- he'd only gone in there because the lights were off and the darkness was welcoming to him. It didn't take much for him to drift off, his back against the wall and his head slumped forward. Loud music blaring in his ears from his headphones; rock music often helped his hangovers and he failed to admit anything otherwise to this. His legs were crossed in front of him, while his hands were limp in his lap.

Between the Lines

again, Hanbin thought to himself as he viewed the film on his video. The clock signaled him that he had three hours left to come up with a choreography and the assigned song wasn’t really the song he wanted. His eyebrows furrowed for a second, he wanted to punch his fist against the wall, but he didn’t— frustration is too overrated anyway.

Hanbin thought that if he could think hard enough, motivation might hit him but of course, it didn’t and maybe he wouldn’t be there sulking like a spoiled brat if he hadn’t signed “Kim Hanbin” on the boot camp list but it wasn’t as if it was an option— he needed it

and he was desperate.

Although he wasn’t fun of idle dreaming when there’s a deadline to do in less than three hours, he found himself walking along the narrow pavement outside the practice rooms. The snow had grown thicker and there was sleet in a few corners. Hanbin tightened his cap when the wind blew and for that moment, the loudspeakers from one of the rooms echoed through the place, most importantly it was the same song.

Maybe that was why he found himself looking for the culprit— and he did. She was not bad—not bad that Hanbin was invested in spending a few minutes to watch her dance.

Hanbin was nodding his head to the beat— she was impressive, really and seeing her dance reminded him why he was there. Hanbin wasn’t in the mood to commen her— anyone for that matter so he stood there watching her sway, one hundred and one percent sure he wasn’t noticed.
