“Wannieee~” Seulgi called out, scampering over to her best friend.  They had agreed to meet up to go over some of the choreography of a cover that the group had planned to do together.  She was happy that they had gotten to do this, because she hadn’t exactly succeeded in doing her vlive yet, but she hoped she’d be able to get it done in the future.  For now, this was a great thing to focus on, even if right now she was just focused on clinging to her smaller friend.

Hugging onto Wendy, Seulgi wasn’t actually paying any attention to what the other had been doing in the moment, fully getting lost in the fact that she could just do this.  After a second, she gave her a big grin and pulled back, not exactly letting go of her, but giving her best friend the room to shrug her off if she wished.  “What are you working on, my adorable wife~?”

as intimidated as chaewon is by the and*roma members, she does want to see gyeoul again. chaewon doesn’t really believe in fate, but she doesn’t exactly think it’s totally bullshit either. she believes in luck, and she believes in paths. like, if chaewon’s parents were still around, she’d probably still be living in london. she might’ve gone onto a singing show like the x factor, or maybe the producers her mother knew would’ve gotten her a role on the west end. that’s one path. if she hadn’t made friends with naeun in high school, she might have given up on performing altogether. 

and, if she hadn’t gone to gyeoul’s singing class at the samsung speak up event, she might not have written down and*roma as one of her musical inspirations on her audition form. if she hadn’t, nova might not have taken a second look at her.

( unlikely, she knows, but she thinks that her listing and*roma on the form basically said that nova was her third choice of company, even if she didn’t realise it at the time. )

chaewon tentatively approaches wendy in the nova canteen, clutching her can of coffee in both hands.

“um, hi,” she says, lips stretched into a thin smile. “i ... don’t know if you still remember me,” she’d remembered her before, and chaewon had been so impressed by it. “but i got signed to nova entertainment last month.”

she isn’t sure if she’s mentioned it out loud, but juhee enjoys the days when they’re set to go to the radio stations. while there were still an ample need to prepare for them, juhee enjoys the atmosphere more. while cordial and polite, the hosts are rather chill and for someone who isn’t too accustomed to small talk, juhee finds their vibes much more on par with her own than the small talk she finds herself in whenever she runs into an unsuspecting senior backstage at the live shows. 

even more, she enjoys the songs that they play in between during their breaks -- after all, it was a radio show -- what would it be without the music. and sometimes, sometimes, the hosts even let the girls request a few of the songs. ( though none of juhee’s songs have made it through, unfortunately ) it’s after one particular break, her fingers slowly wring themselves from their knots ; as the hosts begin to excuse themselves from the room while she and the rest of the members are left to their devices. a part of her itches to grab her phone, to idly scroll through twitter and what not but she refrains, instead opting for opening her water bottle and taking a healthy gulp to spare her parched throat. 

music plays in the background, one song in particular catches juhee’s attention more than the others. “ah!” she perks up, setting her bottle down as she turns to wendy. “it’s per_se’s song.”

this was the first time and*roma was doing something such as an mv commentary. it was common for groups to do this for their comebacks. this was and*roma’s second comeback and their first time doing this. sunmi was handing the cue cards to play “mc” as the leader of the group. the girls sat around the large round table in the centre of the room. they sat two per camera. there was three camera views for all six members of and*roma.

she held the cards in her hand, smiling at the camera in front of her. “ah yes hello and thank you for joining us!” she said brightly. they were all dressed for their performance today. she pauses to count down for their group greeting: twinkling and sparkling! hello we are and*roma! “today we are doing and*roma’s music video commentary for our latest release high heels. i am going to be our lovely emcee today; north star darae!”

she pauses for a moment to let the girls get situated. she glances down momentarily to the cue cards. it was a bulleted version of what she is to say plus some of her notes. “please introduce yourselves,” she gently instructs. she motions to wendy who is to her left to start with the introductions. they would go around the circle that way until everyone is introduced and sunmi could start with the commentary.
