so for the AU--I am sort of curious about Reygla Pyrope, Musple Leijon, Dolane Ampora, Cedson Peixes, and Porose Maryam's appearances and personalities. sorry, I know that's many of them, but like. I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS PLEASE. please.

Alright, so, Porose is generally very, very sarcastic and it’s hard to read her tone. But at the same time, she’s very caring, as the Maryams are. It’ll take an hour after she mothers you that you realise that was what she was doing. She’s almost constantly glowing, because she thinks it’s pretty. Her tattoos were done by her ♦️, Reygla.

Reygla on the other hand is very brash and competitive, and has an almost obsessive interest in Troll Nintendo and Pokélusi. She also has a very black and white moral code that she learned from gaming constantly, which is challenged when she becomes a Knight. She has a paranoia of ropes and suicide.

Musple is very wild much like Nepeta, and enjoys the arts. She hunts and has many scars from it. She’s very sweet and enjoys Troll Anime, and things that are very cutesy. It’s the biggest opposites of her personality. If it’s cute, she’ll love it. If it’s killable, she’ll love it.

Dolane is a fedora kind of man, mixed with a greaser, mixed with a Harry Potter fanboy. He’s the kind to say he’s a “nice man” who deserves a girl, but truthfully, he acts like that because he’s knowing that people… actually don’t like him. But if you’re able to push back that layer, he’ll sit with you for hours and talk about Troll Harry Potter. He’s still a douchebag and it doesn’t excuse his shit, but there’s more to him.

Cedson shares a LOT of Meenah’s traits. She loves money, loves the fact that she’s royalty, and uses that as an excuse to hold herself above other people. She hates, hates, HATES Dolane, not even blackrom hate. It is legit frustration and anger. She has a large interest in human culture, and says she’s “ironically enjoying it” but when Derrick actually sent her a thing explaining human culture, she got very interested.

Hey if it isn't too much to bother could you explain systems? I have heard it a few times in the kin community but I've never seen someone explain it... Sorry to bother!

You’re not a bother at all! I hope you don’t mind me going on a bit of a tangent, I’ve buried myself in plenty of research on the topic, plus own experiences.

Systems, essentially, is when you have one body with multiple people. This almost always stims from childhood abuse in which the child’s brain says “fuck this shit, i’m out” and forms or splits into a separate personality to push the abuse on. This can happen from the ages of 6-11, when the brain is still developing. It’s unlikely to completely form after puberty has taken effect.

Formally grouped as MPD, or Multiple Personality Disorder, systems are professionally diagnosed under two branches. Dissociative Identity Disorder [DID] or Other Specified Dissociative Disorder [OSDD-___, depending on the severity of the case.] There are contrasting differences between the two.

DID - Occurring from continuous child abuse, it’s more likely to have unique personalities that aren’t introjects [introjections of fiction, abusers, etc]. If you went through continuous assault and have a system, you probably have DID.

OSDD - Forms when a child has less continuous but still impacting abuse. For example, if a child is sexually assaulted once, and is emotional abused up until a certain point, they will form a system of OSDD. It’s also more likely to consist of introjects such as fictives.

Personally, our system is an OSDD [although not professionally diagnosed, however, the signs are obvious and we are working now to get diagnosed.] The original went through assault and split into Jane and D. Neither of them are fictives, instead attaching onto fictional characters that match their personalities and that they are kin to. We also have a large set of fictives and the likes, which is common for OSDD.

When you see the term alter, the person is talking about a separate personality that formed to assist or help with something or a situation.

For example: I formed as a “last ditch effort to make sure D doesn’t force himself into dormancy.” as a fictive of Alpha Rose with a majority of his shared timelines because I was who he trusted the most with his life.

Another example with us is Stream, who we’ve dubbed as the Tolken Bitch Alter. We repeatedly get alters that are bitches to balance out the general personality we have as a whole.
