my stepdad is about to finish wind and truth. he was raised in a homophobic household, but doesn’t really follow that anymore. either way, until now, i’ve danced around the topic of renarin and rlain’s relationship, because i didn’t want to make him uncomfortable.

well, he finally approached me about it, and i was expecting something about their sexualities, or maybe a critique on sando’s writing, but i definitely wasn’t prepared for “it’s hard to see it as anything other than a massive age gap. it’s almost dubious.”
