Intro Post

Good evening Lords and Ladies of Tumblr. It's been quite some time since I've been on here since I am disgustingly bad at consistent social media posting. But I like tumblr best out of all of the options so bear with me.

My name is Ashuriah Thefou. I am a young student in Texas set on learning, helping my people, and creating a better world. I am a son, a brother, a friend, an activist, a writer, a craftsman, a boyfriend, and much more, but above all else, I am a human. We're in this fight together whether we like it or not, so slow down, give me some of your workload, and let's figure out our problems together.

I fucking hate instagram and twitter and reddit isn't great for personal growth and socialization so I'm here to share what I do, learn from others, and share my experiences and knowledge.

What do I do though? I craft (metal, wood, leather, 3d printing, fiber arts), I write, I speak, I help people, and more! I had a lot of ideas when thinking of starting a social media page but nothing in particular came to the front. I think here you'll mostly find progress updates and tutorials for a variety of projects, ramblings of the man I hope to become, business updates as I start my company, and humanity project updates as I attempt to create a new societal function with my close partners-in-crime. Oh! And I can't leave out the fact that I make custom tactical and functional gear, gadgets, and garb. Send me a message or an ask for requests, I'm making free shit right now 🤙

Some goals I have for the year ahead: - maintain posting consistency - finish my master to-do list - establish the presence of Seihll Noa, our societal reform project - protect my city - probably kick one ice agent's ass - not get drafted for wwiii - marry my girlfriend (don't tell her i said that, she doesn't have tumblr)

the forgotten gear

this is about a key material to pack when on patrol. most people pack the standard stuff. water, snacks, tech, medkits, that sort of stuff. but the most important item that nobody packs is so simple it seems stupid

DUCT TAPE

the most useful things to pack. it can be used to repair gear and uniforms, make emergency patches on vehicles, so much more. and even (although i HIGHLY do not recommend) could be used to patch wounds in a pinch. hell, MythBusters did multiple episodes showing how useful that stuff is! you can find the videos on YouTube. 

a roll doesn't even cost that much. maybe 13 bucks for the good brands. if you have the space among all your other gear, TAKE A ROLL. you'll discover just how useful it is pretty quickly! i mainly use it to temporarily repair the underfunded infrastructure in my area. even if it doesn't hold, tells the local council that someone needs to deal with it.

that's all i've got. pick up a roll at your local hardware store, stuff it in your pack and get to repairing!

just watched a skyline video for the first time and now i’m inspired to be a real life superhero 🙏💥

Exceeeptt i’m also an adhder and autistic and fear human interaction and my superhero persona (dc self insert) is focused on. major threats like time travel or aliens which don’t exist in this world. and he doesn’t have a mask or anything his mask consists of his a la clark kent glasses. and i also am not allowed outside on my own because i’m a teenager and have strict parents. Haha.

What if Santa wasn't a creature of the night, but a jolly old man who you could be pen pals with?
