VOYAGESOFABOOKWORM’s QUESTIONS TIME:
1) If you could marry any fictional character or actor or singer etc who would it be?
Why would you start with this? That is just mean. Erm... You see, I always end up liking the villains in fictional things, so I'd be tempted to say Loki or Moriarty or someone like that, but I can't see them being the best husband. Maybe Tom Hiddleston then, because he's super nice, has a beautiful voice (and body) that could keep me entertained forever, and because he'd be fantastic to have conversations with (if you've ever seen how he answers interview questions, you'll know what I mean xD).
2) What’s your favourite genre of books?
Fantasy I think. Specifically fantasy set in our world, perhaps where most things are normal but one thing is different (like Temeraire), or something's hidden in our world but we can't see it (like Harry Potter). That way its like it could almost be real, whereas if it's in a completely different world, I think it's a little harder to get excited about it. Still love them though, The Hobbit is currently one of my favourite books.
3) What’s your earliest memory?
I'm sat in nursery, playing with Lego or blocks or something, and I look up at the desk bit and all the staff are stood behind there in a line, just smiling. And then I walk over to the sliding doors and all the other kids are on the bikes outside. I don't actually think it's a real memory, because it's a bit too clear, and why would all the staff be in a weird line while all the children are outside on bikes? Doesn't seem very safe to me.
4) Favourite flavour of ice-cream?
COOKIE DOUGH 8D No question. Partly because of how much fun I've had with my friends, fighting them with spoons for the best chunks of cookie dough.
5) Would you say yes to gaining the power of world domination, even if it meant sacrificing the relationships you held with your loved ones?
Wow, that's deep man... I don't know, I think it depends. If the world needed me, like if there was some horrible dictator in charge, or just no-one and the world was in anarchy, then yes I might do, because by doing so I would be keeping my loved ones safe. However, if everything was great and happy and the world was at peace then no, because I wouldn't be improving anything by taking the power.
6) If you could have one animal as a pet or companion, factious or real, what would it be? And what would its name be?
DRAGON! I've always wanted a dragon (yes, I'm aware of how unrealistic that is). They're gorgeous, they're huge, they can defend you if they need to, a lot of them are very intelligent and they're DRAGONS! Not sure on the name, it would depend on the colour and look etc. For the average big black dragon though: if it was a girl Zilla (meaning 'shadow', and also God'zilla') and if it was a boy, Yiska (meaning 'the night has passed').
7) Cats or dogs? why?
Dogs. They're just more loving than cats in my opinion, they seem like they actually want to be your friend, rather than they're just using you for food.
8) What’s your biggest pet peeve?
I'm not entirely sure. I have quite a few little ones. I think maybe my biggest is when people get grammar wrong on official signs. It's just like 'why didn't you check that? Seriously? Now you look like an idiot.' Like, there's this bar round the corner from my uni accommodation called Captain's Bar, but on half the signs they miss out the apostrophe! And, to be fair to them, it would make sense either way (either a bar belonging to the captain or a bar for multiple captains) but MAKE YOUR BLOODY MIND UP!
9) If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life (and this food would somehow sustain you at a healthy weight etc) what would it be?
D= I NEED MY FOOD TOO MUUUUCH, DON'T TAKE IT FROM MEEEEEEE! I'm a bit of a foody so I need all of the food all of the time so I would really struggle with only having one xD. Maybe, spaghetti bolognaise? Purely because I'm craving it at the moment xD.
10) what is your favourite song? (currently or of all time)
It changes too often to be an all time favourite, but currently... 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman' by Shania Twain because I can't not dance to it, and because when you say the title in a group of my friends, they all respond with 'DUN DUN DE DUH DE DUN DUN!'
11) What fandom scares you the most (whether it be the members of the fandom or the fandom itself)?
At the moment, probably the Sherlock fandom (which I am a member of) as I'm quite worried for the sanity of all the members. If we have to wait much longer for Season 3, it could be disastrous...
