Send me, "This seems like a bad idea." And I'll generate a number 1-40 to see what my muse says!
And no peaking unless you're a coward!

17. Our characters sharing a lucid dream
There was this moment of realization, much like divine illumination, when he realized that the darkness around him belonged to his mind. And with the shadows, he crafted the vast illusion of a temple, with high spires that pierced ivory clouds, and the vicious fangs of gargoyles that guarded them - for that is the home he missed dearly, the home of the Pardoners in long-lost Carim.
The towering doors opened like two great crow wings, screaming and yet silent. No attendants pulled their heavy chains, and yet they opened slowly. That is how he remembered them : ever standing and timeless like the welcoming arms of a steel giant.
He stepped forth, and radiance filled this strange dream. Many violent and beautiful scenes casted their colors onto the floors below, etched in tall windows of glasswork. The church, from the inside, was filled with the lights of dawn and dusk alike. Every nook in the wood of the benches, every drip of a candle, and every speckle of dust in the air was as he knew them.
And before him, beyond the altars and the stairs and the choir there was the throne, the tall black throne of his Goddess, so intricate in its ornaments and yet so easily eclipsed by Her beauty. He saw her as she had appeared to him years before, yet even in his waking dreams he could craft no likeness to her.
He sat upon the throne, his gaze embracing the grandeur before him, and closed his eyes. And when the dark, black seas swallowed all he had crafted, it was merciless.
The shattering of the glass was silent. Waves crashed, snuffed away the comfort of the candles and the sun. Darkness followed, and it dripped from every crack of the tall stone walls. Still there was no sound as the vast ironwrought doors were blast open by the vicious currents who ravaged without pity the careful creations of the man's mind.
The tide swallowed all but him. It brought silence and emptiness. Around there were but ruins, falling like snowflakes or the leaves of fall - there was beauty, certainly, in the sight. The spires fell before his eyes and into the darkness below.
Do you see, now?

2. My character caring for yours, who has a broken leg
"It is done," the Pardoner exclaimed as he observed the result of long hours of work. It was not a meager task, constructing a rigid cast out of what little he owned. But, he thought to himself, using a few bones really added to the style."Thou art lucky it has not worsened. Whatever held thy eye, thou shouldst be more careful to watch thy footing in the waters. They are most treacherous."

11. A massage from my character
It was not every day a pilgrim came to rest in his house. Of course, it was not every pilgrim he offered such services, either.
"Thou seemeth tense, my friend," he said as his long fingers came to rest - crawled on the warrior's shoulders. "Shouldst thou wish it so, I could perhaps relieve some of thy pain."
