First reference, because it matters, ‘In most doomed timelines, Gamzee sobers up and goes on a murdering rampage. In one of these, he makes part of the code to create their first guardian, which is retrieved by an Aradiabot.‘

From here (page 3600) to about here (Page 3610) They discuss how the FLARP teams (Tavros, Aradia, Vriska, Terezi) had written the code for the First Guardian in their sessions, but how it had been incomplete until they added in the code written by Gamzee in a doomed timeline, where he murdered EVERYONE. Evidenced by the very MANY colors of blood used to make the writing on the ~ath book. (except for Araida, who was already dead at the time.)

Also, because it should be noted, that it wasn’t JUST Lil Cal that influenced Gamzee to go murder mode, ALSO it was Dave showing him the video for the ICP music video ‘Miracles’.

I’ll have to pause this here, because honest to god it’s a chore to dig out the references, parsing through a thousand+ pages of the comic to find the things I want is being annoying, but yeah.
