What would you say are the worst acted scenes in the 100?

Firstly, you're welcome to send in your own if I don't mention them. I'd love to hear them!!

Alright, here we go;

- The CPR scene, season six. This is one of those times I'd term over-acting. Now the entire scene was ridiculous and unscientific, so that didn't help him, but Bob's emotional response came across as extremely forced and artificial. I noticed some other smaller moments throughout season six where he was stiff, with a constant pained expression, and that took me out of the scenes quite often.

- "You may be the chancellor, but I'm in charge," season two. Not a popular choice, I'm sure. It isn't necessarily a badly acted scene, I just expected more from it. This is supposed to be the moment Clarke pushes herself upright into leadership position, it's supposed to be powerful and authoritative. She's supposed to be asserting herself. Instead she looks uncertain and somewhat patronising towards her mother and chancellor. She subtly asked her mother for control in a way because she just wasn't forceful enough. Which could've been fine, except the line chosen to be said doesn't reflect that. It almost felt as if the actress was attempting to play both hard-headed, self-assured badass and hesitant teen girl at the same time.

- Reactions to Murphy's death and resurrection, season six. Barely any reaction to the entire situation. Raven's face when Murphy begins breathing again is peak someone telling Lindsey three seconds beforehand to "act shocked." Everyone's reactions to this were severely underwhelming, in fact. I think this moment should've been an upsetting and intense, probably confusing, moment for spacekru in particular, even more so for Raven who just lost another person important to her mere moments before. Raven's reaction to Abby's death was similar. Pales in comparison to her earlier, much stronger reaction to Finn's death, and Sinclair's too.

That's all I can think of for now, since I'm not prepared to rewatch. I have a bunch more issues with the delivery of season six. A lot of the interactions between characters were unnatural and cold. But I'm trying really hard to forget season six exists so I can sleep peacefully at night.

Since people die when Bellamy and Clarke are united the only way season seven ends with canon Bellarke is if all other humans die.

Do you like Octavia

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: I don’t actually like any of the characters at the moment, they almost feel more like vessles plot is poured into (@awesomenell65 was it you who said this? Either way, it’s such a spot on description!!) rather than fully-fleshed out people. Either that or they’re barely a character at all (Raven, Emori, Echo, Raven). So no in that respect. But talking pre-season6, yes Octavia is a hugely entertaining character for me, and season 5 in particular made me appreciate her on a whole new plain.

Been grumpy lately so ty for giving me something good & positive to focus on!! These characters are flesh houses for trauma more than they are people at this point, so I’ll use my imagination. It’s nice to dress them up in happiness for once.

SUPERNATURAL

Echo jumps at every little sound. She’s fierce when she’s faced with other humans, but the element of unknown freaks her out. Her village used to have legends of ice zombies and tormented spirits wandering the forests and fields at night. Some said they were the ghosts of those who’s heads- on spears- decorated their land. Some would’ve told you they were past commanders whispering through the trees, or the victims of Queen Nia’s sadistic games. It all depended on who you asked. I imagine even if she didn’t believe in the supernatural before, her little trip to space changed her mind right around on things she believed were just unlikely tales. Raven is the skeptic who keeps taunting the ghosts. She’s got the plausible, scientific explanation for everything. Her B.D.E scares away the demons. Bonus: Octavia’s the camera woman with balls of steel, and Raven keeps finding ways to mess with Echo in the haunted locations.

TRUE CRIME

Clarke does all the research, Octavia sits beside her saying insane things, and Raven’s behind the camera bracing herself. Sometimes there’s a random shot of Emori crocheting in the background.

Memori is a romance. Shane & Ryan are friends. Bellamy and Clarke are frenemies with an occasional dip into nemesis.

What friendship would you like to see? (The 100)

Assuming this means which friendship I'd like to happen that we haven't seen yet. (If it's something different just lmk!!) I have a few, I tend to prefer platonic/familial pairings over romantic ones, especially for this show.

In an ideal world I'd love some more of Diyoza and Raven. That dynamic was a breath of fresh air. It gives me Rick and Morty vibes (personality wise) and that makes me laugh lol. And I'd do anything to have The Designated Bad Bitch back in my life again.

I think an unlikely friendship between Murphy and Octavia would be an interesting one, since their stories are paralleled (?) or...both share many many similarities both in person and in their individual arcs, almost crossing over somewhere along the way and switching places. Anyone have a correct term for that? I've seen the word parallel so much it's lost all meaning. Lol.

Madi x Space Sisters is the dream. I imagine Echo, Raven and Emori would all fall in love with her quickly if they had the chance to bond. Madi could be a little space sister. How precious. The potential of this group is limitless, all those personalities, all those influences on little Madi, and it'd let us learn more about our space girls post time jump. I'd personally love to see maternal behaviour developing in Echo. With Madi it'd be interesting to see her go from loyal soldier to her commander, to protective auntie hen.

There is so much potential for female bonding on this show if they took a couple of seconds to not go to war!!!! I think back to the beginning of season three when we had those small pockets of delinquent fun, showing how close they'd become over the months of relative peace. Fingers crossed season seven doesn't fuck everything up.

Who do you think is the best actor from The 100?

I don’t think I could tell you. I've only ever seen these actors in The 100 and nothing else. They could be playing the same character in everything they do and I wouldn’t know. I suppose the older, more experienced actors would *technically* be the best in any case, so in terms of which actor I enjoy the most on the show I’d say Richard, with the exception of one or two weaker scenes, and Lindsey in early seasons. I think they can act the smaller, less trajectory-altering scenes just as well as the big emotional scenes, and usually feel very true to their characters!
