Got inspired by reading some fanfics about a reader giving the silent treatment to their f/o and it got me wondering…

How would your ocs Silas, Cole, and Holt react if their s/o got upset with them and gave them the silent treatment?

As soon as you see your tears well up from the argument he just rolls his eyes and goes out for a smoke. The next morning he wakes up usually you're so chatty but this time, you're silent. As quiet as a mouse, even as he grunts a 'morn'n', you don't say anything. Silent treatment? Really??? Whatever, He doesn't care.

Spoiler: he does. He cares a lot, He's grown so used to your constant chatting He gets antsy when he can't hear you. Even if he doesn't respond back he's always listening. He's more irritable. He just wants you to stop that stupid silent treatment, That shit's for babies anyway not like it's working.

When he finally hits the boiling point he just yells He breaks "fine, I'm sorry there?! Can you stop being so quiet now? Freaking me the fuck out. I'll do anything."

You're angry at him and it's not right He doesn't feel right when you're not talking to him like normal. And he's weirdly upset when you're mad at him. What the fuck is happening to him??

Cole

He goes away to cool off storming out the house. When he comes back dinner is being cut but you don't say a word to him. You must be so mad at him, All right he'll give you some space then. However the next day you're still mad at him. It's starting to worry him. His heart is starting to hurt. He misses you so much. You're physically there but you're not there... He must have hurt you pretty bad.

Cole can be soft, under that hard snarky exterior that's a man who loves you. He wraps his arms around you. He sets a freshly picked (very messy) bouquet of wildflowers on the counter "I'm sorry darling. I did not mean to say those words. I did not know how much they hurt."

He knows that sometimes he can be a bit of a blockhead His anger gets in the way, and he says things he does not mean. He needs to work on that, which He is trying to figure out.

When he wants to make it up to you he means that. He's grateful to have you and he doesn't want to lose any more people he loves.

Oh...oh dear. It must be something about rules that he set that he will not budge. Silas thrives on his lover's attention and he does not do well with silent treatment. He is royalty and he is used to getting whatever he wants.

He will find a way to get your attention back. Without changing his rules. His rules are there to 'protect' you and his rules are firm. Whether it be physical gifts or affection He will crank up his normal love bombing behavior.

The longer you go with that silent treatment the crazier he becomes. Please darling talk to him He can't stand at this quiet!! He needs you in his arms, don't you see?! He needs that attention. He'll try to get your eyes to look at him one way or another. Perhaps he should fake a sparring accident. He might be wounded... But it's worth it if you could hear your pretty voice repeat his name.

Y'all I can also see him living on the farm as his regular wasp self but I don't see Holt being a beekeeper lol.

Part of the "humans fascinate me gang." But he really likes humans. If his overly clinginess didn't piss Holt off, maybe he would let Zero have you. Unlike other hybrids, clinginess to you zero actively and constantly distracts you from your work. Zero gets handy and demands all of your attention while he plays with your fingers or strokes your back, twirls your hair, or traces the lines on your palm.

He knows every little difference about you, and honestly, it scares your boss. Your boss and he do not get along at all. He's one of the only bulls that could stand up to him even if he knows Holt is stronger.

Holt's possessive and sometimes overbearing nature over you, as he sees you as his possession, will not clash well with Zero's obsessive and clingy nature. And why stop something that annoys your boss?

Zero does make creepy comments about the human body when you least expect it. Maybe you shouldn't bought him a book on human anatomy no, he's obsessed with caressing the areas of your body to find where your organs are.

"I bet you're blood is a beautiful deep red, and tastes sweet." Is an actual thing you've heard.

When he isn't trying to cling to you physically, He's watching you intently, studying every move you make and wondering if that's just a you thing or if all humans do that—responding to every little reaction you make, hyperfocused on everything your human body does. You feel more like a specimen in a lab or that you're the hybrid and he's the farm hand, from the way he speaks to you or from the way he is. Like Colress and other smarter bulls on the farm, he is clearly more intelligent than you. He could probably live a life in human society like some hybrids prefer. But for some reason, he stays here. And personally, do you really want to know the reason why?

Zero knows full well, were all the vitals. but as much as he wants to he could never act on his fantasies of being the only one in your life because he knew he could never get past that damn farmer. Who has been keeping a sharp eye on him? However, he's contented with playing well for now if it means he gets to be around you.

He frequently goes into the forest attached to the farm and is on the farmer's land to forage and place edible plants on your window seal. Though even then, I wouldn't trust anything he gives you. Since I wouldn't be surprised that he would know exactly what plant does to the human body.

Silas does not understand the concept of if you love something set it free. He believes that if you truly love something you would take care of it and protect it.

Everyone wants to talk about feral Silas but what about sweet and soft Silas? What about when he is exhausted from his Royal duties all he wants to do is find you rap his arms around you and hold you. he missed you so much, Silas it's a big cuddle bug, his favorite part of the day, this feeling your warm body close to him nuzzling his face into your neck and inhailing your scent to come him down.

Silas gives you your own room. The more You escape or disobey, the more you slowly lose more privileges. He wants to spoil you and provide you with everything if you submit to him and accept his love. If you keep disobeying him and escaping like a mere prisoner, he will treat you as such. He does not mind seeing you with a collar attached to a chain he holds around all day so you will not leave his side. He does not mind you sitting in his lap like a little fidget toy for him to play with while he does his work. His feather pen in one hand scratching on the paper while his other squeezing your thigh, playing with your hair, running his hand underneath your shirt, etc.

you'll never see that Prince more happy if you yourself ask to sleep in his own room. Despite Silas having such an innocent look on love he's not stupid he expects you to struggle. So be fun to watch his eyes widen when you ask to sleep in his bed.

Yes Silas reads romance novels he's a hopeless romantic in his loyal Library there's a whole section of just romance novels he's absolutely obsessed with the idea of Falling in Love, love at first sight, soulmates. Feeding his innocent and Rose tinted, delusional thoughts on love. Silas has never felt the feeling of falling in Love before, he firmly believes that it was meant to be even if you didn't feel the same he believes that it will happen it just takes time for you to realize those feelings as well. he has never been truly loved for a long time so he craves it, he craves it more than a man craves food.

Silas doesn't fully understand the more Primal animalistic Cravings he has. These desires can be controlled; Silas just doesn't; it feels much better to satisfy those cravings than to hold them back.

Silas loves birds. He orders over birds of paradise with beautiful plumages. He has a whole aviary in the castle Courtyard full of colorful birds. His favorite, of course, are lovebirds.
