Hi y’all.
I rarely do this. I haven’t asked for a donation in years. But here I am asking for help. My car broke down once I arrived to Texas last week and is costing me a lot money. I’m currently going into debt and maxing out credit cards just to get by, and so I thought I’d ask for a donation from my fans.
I pour my heart and soul into my work (it’s really more than just pressing a shutter on a camera) and I hope that at some point, seeing a capture of mine made you...feel something. If so, I hope you will considering donating to my car repair funds. $5, $25, $100, or truly any amount you can offer I’d be eternally grateful for. I know money is tight for a lot of people, especially around the holidays, so whatever you can donate, I will be so grateful for.
Every little bit counts. I’m trying to have a positive attitude about the whole thing but it’s hard. I already sacrificed so much in my personal life to make it here to Texas only to break down once I arrived. My car is my livelihood. I had plans to travel beyond Texas to New Mexico, Arizona, and even maybe California, let alone drive myself back home to New York early spring. If you’ve enjoyed my work over the years (or just found me recently), I hope you will consider donating to help me fix my car.
