Bruce Springsteen Vows to Continue “Until the Wheels Come Off” in “Road Diary” Trailer

- Springsteen/E Street Band doc streams on Hulu and Disney+ from Oct. 25

Bruce Springsteen just turned 75. But he ain’t goin’ nowhere.

“It’s too late to stop now,” Springsteen says in the first trailer from “Road Diary,” a new documentary streaming on Hulu and Disney+ beginning Oct. 25.

“I plan on continuing until the wheels come off and for as long as the audience will follow me. It’s my job.”

Filmed back and on stage during the E Street Band’s 2023-’24 touring cycle, the film also features archival footage, interviews with band members including Max Weinberg and Steven Van Zandt and performances of such songs as “Born to Run,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “Born in the USA” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out.”

Van Zandt said “it blows my mind” to have watched Springsteen morph from a world-class introvert to one of the world’s-greatest entertainers.

But to Springsteen, who began gigging at 16, it’s simply “a deep and lasting part of who I am and how I justify my existence here on Earth.”
