About me!

I realized I’ve never actually done an about me post for this blog, so I figure, better late than never lol

I’m Katie. I’m a 34-year-old queer autistic woman in Connecticut, and Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa have pretty much permanent possession of my life, heart, mind, and soul.

I also love Taylor Swift, Canada, Justin Trudeau, Star Wars, Disney, history, traveling, romance novels, the Boston Red Sox, One Direction, Sabrina Carpenter, American Girl dolls, the Boston Bruins, the Montréal Canadiens (yes, I like both, it’s a long story), and anything pink and sparkly.

Couple quick things.

• I have a tickle kink. This blog obviously isn’t a full on tickle kink blog, but considering it’s devoted to two people I have a crush on, it’s going to come up here quite a bit (as will several other kinks of mine). Just a heads up.

• I will block you if you creep me out, try to sext me, OR if you talk shit about anyone, particularly any of the women who have been involved with Bruce. Yes, this includes his ex-wife Julianne. I am NOT about to have that toxicity on my blog. And of course any hate for Bruce or Patti themselves gets you a ticket to block city as well. No exceptions.

• This should go without saying, considering who this is a stan blog for, but DNI if you are a Tr*mp supporter or otherwise right-wing/MAGA. You WILL be blocked immediately. Fuck you and fuck fascism.

• This is a side blog. My main blog, which I rarely use, is starlightgirl92. That’s where I follow back from.

When I was very small, my parents bought me a CD put out by Disney that included a bunch of famous people singing children’s songs to raise money for a charity for kids with AIDS.

This was on that CD. It was the first time I had ever heard of Bruce Springsteen in my entire life. I must’ve been about two years old. This song grossed me out and I remember thinking, this guy must clearly be a psycho if he’s voluntarily singing about this kind of stuff.

32 years later, his goofiness is my favorite thing about him. I wish I could tell little Katie that it’s a feature, not a bug! 😂
