On why you should run over any “protesters” blocking a road.
There has recently been a rash of assholes who are taking it upon themselves to block roadways and highways to push their own political agenda. We need to run them over and here is why:
1) They are adults who know the risks. They are fully aware of the risks involved in standing in the middle of the road, we all learned by now that getting hit by a car sucks and that we should avoid being that person. By standing in the middle of the road you are forfeiting any claim to personal safety or security and getting run over is just the risk you are taking.
2) Your personal safety is important. When there is a group of people blocking the road you can’t be sure of their intentions. Who the fuck knows what they want or what they might do? They are potentially dangerous people with nefarious motives. You need to get yourself out of that area as quickly as possible for your own protection, if they are getting in the way of that then plow through. (If you have the opportunity to turn around that would work just as well)
3) They have no legal right to be there. If they go through the proper channels to get permits to start an organized protest then they have the right to be there. If that is the case then the police would have created a place for them to be there and a detour route for traffic to take. They are not government officials, like the police, who are legally allowed to create roadblocks or barricades for legitimate reasons.
4) It is your civic duty. These people are not only creating a public nuisance they are creating a public hazard. People need these roads to get to school, to work, to the hospital, fire fighters need to get to fires. These selfish and entitled people are harming the other much more productive members of the community, and it is your civic duty to run them over. If people begin running them over in great enough numbers they will realize that getting hit by a car is a real hazard and must really suck for the people getting hit. All of these kinds of “protests” are being recorded by fifty different cell phone cameras and being posted to Youtube, if people start getting hit more frequently they will know that this is a sure fire way to get run over and it will no longer be used as a “protest” tactic.
Now I should note that I do not know what the legality of running over people creating a roadblock is (It could be manslaughter, or even attempted murder) but this is why I think people should be able to do it. Also a word of advice if you do choose to plow through a crowd DO NOT STOP if you get stopped you could be pulled from you car and beaten or killed. If you make the decision to start running these people over stick with it.
