Pulled over the other day to move this fawn further off a busy road. I didn't take any parts because I didn't have time to have it tagged by an ECO, and because it's back end was already partially eaten. I bet the coyotes, vultures, crows, and foxes are elated! Baby season is pretty much over here, but with the colder weather starts food gathering and breeding season. Wildlife gets a little twitterpated and tends to be a bit more reckless crossing roads. Be safe, being roadkill is typically an unpleasant way to go!
