🚧 Heads up, Chicago! Major Kennedy Expressway Work Begins Tonight! 🚧
Starting TONIGHT, March 17, the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) outbound lanes will undergo major rehab from the Edens Junction to Ohio St. Expect lane reductions, ramp closures, and heavy delays.
➡️ Reversible express lanes will stay open outbound but with limited exits. ➡️ Three consecutive overnight closures (March 17-19) to establish work zones. ➡️ Delays expected – consider alternate routes or public transit (CTA Blue Line, Metra UP-NW, Pace). ➡️ Project expected to last until Thanksgiving 2025.
