I'M JUST #WORSE! AND THEY SPEND MORE TIME BC IM AN EARLY TO BED KINDA PERSON AND THEY PLAY MORE AND BETTER #THATS HOW PPL BOND. SPENDING TIME. #h doodles #messy #oc #aelu #roan #roaelu #uoca is a crow and shes standing on his knee. btw #if u dont remember she's aelu's father's interpreter #aelu's father being nejr the selectively mute god of death #when aelu embarks on his spirit slaying journeys and just goes anywhere in general nejr often sends uoca to accompany #him and also act as his eyes so he can watch over his son (right they also have the eye swapping thing)#uoca is usually blind but when nejr is using her as an extension of himself he sees through her eyes #i dont talk abt nejr enough. ive been meaning to really legit draw him but he'd probably end up looking like #just. a long haired aelu #anyway yall should hear about how devastatingly roan has been suffering recently slash always SDGHSD #reminder that the version of him n aelu i always draw are the one (1) happy incarnation they have!! out of like at least. seven million #ok. #h doodles #oc #roan #aelu #roaelu #reminder that i think about the roaelu i commissioned from paristandard at least twice a day #i'll rb that probably tomorrow bc yall need to see it again #not me giving an entire story synopsis every time i do any tags but like #yea roan got really horribly injured (various causes in various incarnations)#and aelu saves him n he (plus nejr and naev) nurses roan back to health #roan is a LOT better (it took probably 100 yrs to get to where he is now) but he still has lingering issues from his injuries #for one thing he gets sick very easily so when it's cold aelu Piles layers on him #for Another thing roan has coordination issues so he usually needs aelu's support when he's walking a long distance #most noticeable issues in his fingers which he can't exactly control too well #i.e. when he tries to spread em out they kinda stick to each other or when he tries to bend em only some of em bend #i think most of my roaelu art kinda makes the relationship look a bit one sided with aelu being very devoted to #roan while roan doesn't seem to provide anything in return (aside from his own devotion of Course)#HOWEVER. roan is crucial to aelu's sanity as he often leaves the kingdom of the afterlife to slay evil/stray spirits for long periods of #time and if it's long enough he will get desensitized to the 'lives' he is taking and grow distant from himself #nejr's domain is very dark and grim in general and roan is kind of a beam of sunshine/humanity who reminds aelu who he is/what he's done #in this one incident aelu returns after like a week (a Very long period) of just slaying spirits and he's covered in spirits' blood #nejr tries to speak to him but aelu is like closed off; roan hurries to him with a wet rag and is like aelu let me clean your hands :(#they're all dirty :'( and roan attempts to take aelu's hands but aelu (who is obv tense after everything) pushes him back roughly #knocking him down. roan's cry of pain makes him snap out of it a little and he sees him (this vibrant and gentle and #delicate flower) on the ground with bloody handprints on his white sleeves and aelu comes to his senses #and he's like horrified at himself and hesl iek aaaaa what have i become and he cries as he begs for roan's forgiveness n #cleans his hands before cradling roan in his arms n also thanking him for saving him :'( nejr feels that he owes a lot to roan bc of #how he takes care of nejr's son in his own way <3 anyway idk if any of these tags are gonna show up SDFHDSF I THINK ABOUT THEM BYE
