favorite thing about them: most of what I love about simon contains major spoilers so I’m gonna give a non spoilery answer which is that he’s always like ‘zombie apocalypse but make it fun’ like the zombie whack a mole game he invented or how he’s saying dumb things to get five to smile in that early s2 mission like he genuinely does his best to make other people have a good time despite the apocalypse and it’s the BEST 

my abridged spoiler filled answer (kelly don’t look) is that GOD what a redemption arc like s3 simon who’s trying despite everything to crawl his way back to the light who understands the damage he’s done and risks it all to try and do the right thing i’m gonna be forever crying about it 

least favorite thing about them: ***s2 spoilers*** i’m like you can betray ME all you want simon whatever but to betray JANINE like that??? fuck u simon what the fuck you don’t deserve her

brOTP: five and simon, they're the best chaotic duo I like to imagine they just lose all brain cells when they’re together and do so much stupid stuff and Janine is constantly yelling at them but they’re having too much fun to care 

OTP:***s2 spoilers*** ok ok this one is hard because I love simon and janine together a LOT but like knowing that he was lying to her all that time :(((( idk they’re the otp minus the part where simon betrays her but also besides the fact that I don’t like it when janine is sad i love the drama of simon/janine like (***s3 spoilers ahead**) “I didn’t betray you, Jenny” oof ouch my heart 

nOTP: I don’t have a notp, but I remember a popular ship was simon/jody and I think that’s cute but I don’t ship them at all, I am here for their friendship though!! 

random headcanon: in Five’s early days at abel Simon was bothering Five (as he does) and Five didn’t grasp yet that Simon is just Like That and Five just decked him and they were friends from then on (in the ‘there are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them’ sense except instead of fighting a mountain troll it’s just five knocking simon to the floor)

unpopular opinion: I don’t have an unpopular opinion I think all my opinions of simon that are negative are shared asdjaklsd

3. Which is your favourite book and why?

this is probably the most difficult question haha I think it would be a cop out to say I love them all equally so I’m going to go with order of the phoenix (which surprisingly is many people’s least favorite book but I love it, I think it’s a huge turning point in the series) 

6. Which scene was added into the films that was a great addition?

This was a deleted scene so technically it doesn’t count but the deleted scene in deathly hallows right after neville pulls the sword out of the hat and harry jumps out of hagrid’s arms after pretending to be dead, and malfoy shouts “potter!” and throws harry his wand and runs back to the good side. I still can’t believe they cut that scene!!  I really wanted a clear redeeming moment for malfoy like this in the books and I wish they had kept it in the movie 

7. In your opinion, what was an Iconic Moment™?

too many to name omg no I’d have to go with “there’s no need to call me sir, professor.” GET REKT SNAPE 

30. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be?

oh my goodness I think I’d have so many questions about the books but in reality if I met jkr it would just be like me sobbing and telling her that she was my entire childhood/life

11. Best Stage to Screen Adaption:

Honestly I have no idea. I haven’t seen that many. I’ve got answers for “best stage to film” (as in where they just filmed the show being performed) (newsies, phantom 25th anniversary) and I’ve got answers for “best screen to stage adaption” (which would be both Mary Poppins AND Anastasia because they both kick ass)

28. What piece of media should be turned into a musical?

Ok this is a hard question. Because by rights everything could be turned into a musical. Or a play. I think I’d like to see something of Virginia Woolf’s to be adapted and when I was falling asleep I was thinking of “a tree grows in Brooklyn”, but you have to be careful with that one only because it’s a book where everyone takes something different from it and that’s what I would want transferred.

But as I was typing this, I think it could be very easy and very interesting to adapt Leaves of Grass into something

36. Name a musical you didn’t like at first but ended up loving?

This is a question that has no answer.

I’m usually transfixed very easily by musicals and I’ll like everything immediately. There are some musicals that I liked originally and then fell out of favor with (primarily, phantom)

sadly no, I use to play some piano and I can play some basic guitar but I’d really like to learn to actually play an instrument someday!

2. If the sorting hat was on you and it said you'd be great in a house you didn't consider before, will you follow his advice or choose what house you want?

This is tough because I'd be 11 and I don't know how much I'd know about all the houses going into the sorting. But based on how I feel now I think I'd trust the hat to sort me into whichever house it sees fit.

24. Which part of the castle will be your favorite?

Probably the library, especially the restricted section when I could get to it, because books.

After that would probably be Firenze's divination classroom.

38. Will you collect chocolate frog cards?

Hell yes and knowing how I collect things I'd keep all the repeats I got.
