The absolute mastermind behind amazing creepy YouTube content. Twisted 10s being creepy/unsettling things that exist, anatomy of murder being just the history around some famous cases, and so on.
He had to legally change his name because YouTube demonetized him.
On the one hand, yes d*ke is a slur regarding lesbians (and I as a bi woman cannot reclaim the term, hence why I’m censoring it), but at the same time it’s also a last name (see also: Dick van Dyke).
I just think it’s crappy of YouTube to not give him a chance if contacting them and saying “yo, this is actually my name, and I can submit proof if needed” and just demonetizing him to the point that he almost stopped production on his channel and what little he did produce wasn’t even being put out there for his subscribers.
Of course legally changing his name was not necessary, he could’ve just changed his “professional” name (like how some actors don’t use their legal name regarding how they’re credited in the project they were in), but he went ahead and revived a name that technically died before he was born.
It just sucks though, that he was one of the worst hit regarding the adpocalypse, to the point that most of his stuff that drew in his audiences stopped being produced just so he could have a few bucks in his pocket, just because of his name
Ok guys this is serious and this needs to be spread around Rob Dyke, an amazing youtuber who does amazing scary story narrations just had to change his literal name because youtube said it was a slur and he was losing money and chances for financial growth. This is ridiculous and he never should of had to change his literal name so youtube would stop flagging his videos we should all support him and the shit he's having to go through for such a ridiculous reason. Honestly this has sjw all over it and needs to be straightened out, even with his name legally changed (which I am against because that's fucking ridiculous) youtube owes this man money for all the shit they gave him for his literal name and he could very easily take them to court for discrimination and for messing with his earnings. I want everyone to go and like and subscribe and support this man.
