Khlyen Kin Rit really was a Character™️ list of things he did
1. Decided that instead of trying to fix the problem of “My planet is slowly flooding and will be almost entirely underwater in 100 years” with “I shall just take my daughter to another planet away from her mother and raise her entirely around adult scientists that will create a normal person.” (It doesn’t)
2. Infected his whole solar system with a Hivemind parasite he thought was a miracle growth hormone
3. After (accidentally) infecting his firstborn daughter with a Hivemind parasite decided to fix the problem of “Alien in charge of hivemind talking to daughter” with. Trapping her in a box by herself for 200 years until she goes insane from isolation and escapes
4. Steals second daughter from first daughter who pulled second daughter from the hivemind memory dimension cause of incredible isolation and loneliness (cause of Khlyen trapping her in a box for 200 years) and decides that if he just abuses this second daughter differently makes sure she’s completely cut off from her emotions and turns her into a hivemind on purpose when she’s old enough maybe this time she won’t go insane
5. Tries to sabotage the plan of his two daughters to kill alien controlling the whole hivemind to try to somehow save the alien Hivemind lady cause she’s in the body of a teenage girl and he thinks that maybe he can abuse this THIRD young girl differently maybe THIS TIME she won’t turn out to hate him when she’s an adult even though she’s ACTUALLY a THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD ALIEN WHO TOOK OVER THE BODY OF THIS TEENAGE GIRL AND IS NOT ACTUALLY A TEENAGE GIRL
6. Oh and also put his wife in stasis for two hundred years planning on waking her up after he solves the hivemind problem which she agrees to for some reason even though her daughter is already a Hivemind victim at this point.
