Edge of the Ocean || Robb & Henry
Never before had the tick-tick-tocking of the clock seem as ominous as it did now; at least that's what Henry thought the boy was thinking. It had only been about a minute since the boy woke up, his eyes bewildered on what he saw in front of him: a dungeon-like basement with chains, bloodied floors and tools lying on about. It was a lot for the woman he had 'abducted' last week, he couldn't even begin to wonder what the hell the boy was thinking. What was he thinking? Pursing his lips, he leaned down and over towards the boy with a small, friendly smile on his face.
To be honest, Henry had never toyed with a kid before - he preferred to keep those at bay since he felt like it somehow screwed him up in the head. Not that he wasn't already screwed it was just that... his humanity was never gone, therefore he kept his distance from kids. They were too innocent from him and to be honest he kind of enjoyed them - watching them at least (he wouldn't actually want a kid, but that's a discussion for another time). Like painting, it was an escape from the reality of his life and it left things to be pure. Pure innocence, something he's always lacked.
"Now, Riley. Can you just sit here and be a good little boy while I call your father? I found you... wandering the streets mindlessly and brought you here for safety." Nodding his head, Henry moved over towards his workbench where his black bag laid - the bag he took everywhere with him. Rummaging through his belongings, he pulled out his cellphone to take a picture of the boy who sat in the seat, his brows furrowed. He was obviously still taking things in - slow like his father, maybe? Henry mentally laughed to himself and a grin appeared on his face. He was hilarious sometimes, just hilarious.
"Robbie? Oh, dear, Robbie Storm. Just sent you a message of your boy. He's hanging with me here, why don't you come visit me? I'm on 221 Alden Street, see you here in a few, hm?" Without giving the man a word out, he hung up the phone and moved over towards Riley, grabbing a scalpel along the way. "Watcha say to playing a little operation with me, little bud?" Quirking a brow, he watched as the boy slowly moved off the chair he was sitting at and towards Henry. Although Henry knew he was a kid (anything under 16 Henry deemed a child, pure and innocent), he was also part witch so Henry's guard was slightly up, remembering to watch the kid carefully. "It'll be something fun to do before your father comes."
